"If two great powers can be controlled just by the fall of a killer, then they're not as great as you claim they are." Daniel said quietly, and no worry could be seen in his eyes.
He saw no need to clear himself or refute the accusation. There was no accusation that needed to be refuted.
If any problem arose, he could only solve it with force or his mind. And right now, Andreas's selection was certain. There was no other option, and no one could do anything about it.
"You—" The fur-clad elder's face turned red.
"Sit down." The Patriarch said. Only one word.
But the family elder immediately closed his mouth and sat down. The Patriarch looked at Daniel again.
"Why Andreas?"
Andreas raised his head slightly.
"Why among all my children, did you choose him?"
Daniel glanced briefly at Andreas. A few memories passed through his mind. If he wanted to be honest, there was no real reason other than that Andreas was the most controllable option for him.
