A heavy silence had settled in the luxurious room.
The door closed quietly, and the last trace of the tower's leader's presence faded away.
For a few seconds, neither of them said anything.
Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, falling on the expensive carpets and walls covered in magical arrays.
Serys was still standing in the same spot, her gaze fixed on the door through which the tower's leader had exited.
As if she still couldn't believe the conversation from moments ago had been real.
Finally, she let out a long sigh, then slowly sat on one of the chairs.
"What's your plan, really?"
Daniel, standing by the window, didn't take his gaze off the distant towers.
"For what?"
Serys frowned.
"For Lioran. How are you going to make people not dare to support him?" Now that she thought about it, she still couldn't believe such a thing was possible.
Perhaps it could be done over a few years... but only two weeks? That's way too little time! Way, way too little!
