"Captain, I'll stay and help you," Jacob declared, showing no intention of escaping. He immediately reached for Charizard's Poké Ball, deciding to send Charizard out first to assess the situation. If things became too dire, he would then send out Alakazam for emergency support. "Charizard, I choose you!"

As soon as the black Charizard emerged from its Poké Ball, it immediately captured the attention of every poacher present. The sight of its distinctive dark coloration sent waves of excitement through their ranks.

"A Shiny Charizard!" one poacher gasped, his voice filled with disbelief.

"We're rich! It's actually a Shiny Charizard!" another shouted, his eyes gleaming with greed.

"Is it really a black Charizard? When I first saw the Patrol Team, I thought we were in serious trouble, but I didn't expect to hit the jackpot tonight. We should take that girl too," a third poacher added, gesturing toward Amelia.

Peter stared at the Shiny Charizard, his eyes nearly bulging from their sockets. He had never expected someone in this Patrol Team to possess such a rare and valuable Pokémon. The sight of it made his heart race with anticipation.

If a Shiny Pokémon were sold to those wealthy rare Pokémon collectors who frequented the black markets, it would definitely fetch an enormous sum—enough to retire on. "That Charizard must be captured! It must be taken alive at all costs!" Peter commanded, his voice filled with determination and greed.

Peter had just finished speaking when his calculating gaze wandered between Jacob and Amelia. He noticed that these two seemed unfamiliar, not like experienced members of the Patrol Team. They were probably new arrivals from another region, inexperienced and vulnerable.

He didn't think too much about their origins; newcomers from out of town were always easier to deal with. As long as they handled the situation cleanly and left no witnesses, no one would ever know it was their doing. The remote location provided perfect cover for their crimes.

Hearing the enemies' intentions to capture his beloved Charizard, Jacob's eyes grew cold with anger. His protective instincts flared, and his voice carried a dangerous edge as he issued his commands.

"Sceptile, use Swords Dance!"

"Charizard, Heat Wave!"

Charizard soared into the air with powerful wingbeats, its mouth filling with an enormous amount of fire-type energy. The Heat Wave attack roared to life, and scorching flames surged toward the Stoutland at the front of the enemy formation. The attack covered a large area, temporarily cutting off Stoutland's pursuit and creating a barrier of intense heat.

When Amelia heard Jacob insist on staying to fight, she looked directly at him with newfound respect. Without any hesitation, she also firmly chose to stay and fight alongside Jacob, demonstrating courage that surprised even herself. She released her Pokémon with determination: "Go, Orbeetle! Use Reflect and Light Screen!"

Seeing that both Jacob and Amelia chose to stay and face the danger, Jayce frowned with concern. However, a bitter smile soon appeared on his weathered face as he realized their determination. "I didn't realize you two had such courage," he said, his voice carrying both pride and worry for the young trainers.

At the same time, Peter led his group of poachers in pursuit, their footsteps thundering across the mountain terrain. Seeing that Jayce and the other two had chosen not to flee, a cold sneer appeared on his scarred face. "Kill them all!" he roared, his voice echoing through the forest.

Dozens of Pokémon attacked with frenzied intensity, creating an astonishing momentum that shook the very ground beneath their feet. The leading Kabutops, with its scythe-like arms glowing with water-type energy, suddenly slashed at Glalie with deadly precision, leaving a deep wound across Glalie's icy body.

Following closely behind, other Pokémon swarmed forward like a living tide of destruction, their roars and cries filling the night air.

Seeing so many powerful Pokémon arrayed against them, Jacob felt a slight nervousness flutter in his stomach. But more than that, a thrilling excitement surged from deep within his bones, awakening something primal within him.

Perhaps actual combat was the best way to test a Pokémon's true strength, he thought. With Alakazam and Iron Valiant as his ultimate backup, what did he really have to fear?

"Charizard, Heat Wave!" Jacob commanded with growing confidence.

A scorching aura erupted from Charizard's massive form, spewing a devastating wave of intense flames toward the large group of enemies in front of them. The heat was so intense that it made the air shimmer and dance.

"Sceptile, Leaf Blade!"

With Heat Wave clearing a path through the enemy ranks, Sceptile's wrist blades on both hands began to glow with brilliant green energy, forming sharp grass-type energy blades. It charged toward the group of Pokémon ahead with incredible speed and precision.

Sceptile's speed was extraordinary, like a skilled assassin moving through the shadows of night. The mountain forest environment was Sceptile's natural home ground, giving it every possible advantage. Its figure moved like a phantom, closing in on the nearest several Pokémon with fluid grace.

The razor-sharp Leaf Blade swung through the air, slashing toward a Lord level Mightyena that had ventured too close. A fluorescent green light flashed brilliantly, and the Leaf Blade struck Mightyena's body with devastating force. The full-power blow hit like a heavy hammer, directly sending Mightyena flying through the air before it crashed into a nearby tree.

After landing that successful hit, Sceptile didn't pause for even a moment. Instead, it continued its relentless assault, swinging its Leaf Blade and launching attacks on other Pokémon with mechanical precision.

Facing Sceptile's powerful and coordinated assault, ordinary Lord level Pokémon simply couldn't withstand even a single strike from Sceptile's attacks. Only Overlord Class Pokémon and those of higher strength could endure Sceptile's devastating offensive capabilities.

"Capture this Sceptile alive!" Peter watched Sceptile's impressive performance with growing admiration, his heart filled with even greater greed. He decided to take action personally, sending out his most powerful Pokémon: "Aurorus, use Psybeam!"

Among the chaotic battlefield filled with many Pokémon, a massive three-meter-tall Aurorus suddenly raised its majestic head. Ice-type energy began accumulating in its mouth, building to dangerous levels before it suddenly shot out a concentrated beam of psychic energy, flying directly toward Sceptile's position.

Sceptile, currently engaged in intense battle with a dangerous Arbok, sensed the incoming threat through its keen battle instincts. It immediately swung its Leaf Blade with desperate speed, first forcing Arbok back with a powerful Slash attack, then leaping backward with impressive agility, instantly creating safe distance from its previous opponent.

At the same time, the Psybeam attack had already flown toward Sceptile's new position, striking Sceptile with pinpoint accuracy as if it possessed its own guidance system! The psychic energy coursed through Sceptile's body, causing significant damage.

A single Psybeam attack from the Gym Leader level Aurorus instantly and severely wounded Sceptile, leaving it staggered but not defeated.

A hint of fierce determination appeared in the severely wounded Sceptile's eyes, and its entire body began to glow with an intense fluorescent green light. This clearly indicated the activation of its Overgrow ability, which boosted grass-type moves when critically injured.

At the same time, Sceptile's aura suddenly surged with new power, and it let out a roar of pure anger and defiance. Its piercing gaze locked onto Aurorus with unmistakable challenge, and its fighting spirit erupted like a volcano.

In Jacob's experienced eyes, he could see that Sceptile's strength had finally successfully broken through from Lord level to Overlord Class in this moment of crisis. The breakthrough had been triggered by the intense battle and its determination to protect its trainer.

"Aurorus, continue attacking that Sceptile!" Peter commanded.

Meanwhile, Jayce, seeing Jacob's Sceptile in serious crisis, felt urgent concern rise in his chest. He immediately commanded his own Pokémon to provide support: "Zangoose, use Slash!"

However, the experienced poachers gave Zangoose no opportunity to help. They directly ordered their Pokémon to block Zangoose's path, while simultaneously raising their illegal firearms and firing at Jayce and the others. Bullets whistled through the air with deadly intent.

"Glalie, Self-Destruct!" Jayce called out with grim determination.

Seeing the poachers' Pokémon gathering in increasing numbers around them and recognizing that his side was already in serious danger, Jayce made a desperate decision. He commanded Glalie to use the ultimate sacrifice move.

A brilliant flash of light erupted, and all the energy within Glalie's body exploded outward, causing a massive detonation that shook the entire mountainside.

A Gym Leader level Glalie using Self-Destruct possessed terrifying destructive power, instantly clearing the surrounding area of enemies and causing heavy casualties among the poachers' Pokémon. The explosion left a crater in the earth and temporarily stunned both sides.

Seeing his forces severely damaged by the unexpected explosion, Peter's expression grew even more ferocious and desperate. "Capture Jayce alive for me, damn it!" he screamed, his voice cracking with rage.

"Coalossal, use Tar Shot!" Jayce calmly commanded his remaining Pokémon, despite the chaos surrounding them. Tar Shot was Coalossal's signature move, which sprayed sticky tar on enemies, reducing their speed significantly. If the opponent later suffered a fire attack, the damage taken would be doubled due to the flammable coating.

"Don't give him any chance to recover! Kabutops, Aqua Jet!" Peter countered immediately.

Water-type energy surged powerfully around Kabutops's armored body, and in the blink of an eye, it appeared directly in front of the massive Coalossal. Water-type energy enveloped its deadly dual blades, and it suddenly slashed at Coalossal with tremendous force.

Coalossal, which possessed a crippling four-times weakness to water-type attacks, had no time to react or defend itself. It was instantly and severely wounded by this devastating assault. If it weren't for Coalossal's naturally extremely high physical defense, it probably wouldn't have even survived this single move.

At the same time, Amelia's Frosmoth was also overwhelmed and defeated by the powerful Stoutland, falling to the ground with its delicate wings crumpled and damaged.

All three trainers found themselves in an absolutely disadvantageous position. At this critical moment, making their situation even more desperate, a chilling aura suddenly locked onto Jacob with predatory intent.

Unbeknownst to them, an Overlord Class Banette had quietly infiltrated the area near their position and launched a potentially fatal sneak attack on Jacob and his companions. The ghost-type Pokémon's presence had gone completely undetected until this moment.

"Protect!" a familiar voice rang out.

Feeling Jacob under immediate and fatal threat, Alakazam emerged from its Poké Ball without being called, acting on its own protective instincts. It immediately used Protect to block the surprise attack from Banette, then its muscular arms became infused with powerful psychic energy that glowed with ethereal light.

"Psycho Cut," Jacob commanded, recognizing the opportunity.

With a single devastating slash of psychic energy, the King-level Alakazam instantly struck down the Overlord Class Banette with just one perfectly executed blow. The ghost-type Pokémon didn't even have time to react before it was defeated.

"Alakazam, take them all out!" Jacob commanded with newfound confidence.

The King-level Alakazam, with its overwhelming peak strength, charged into the battlefield like a legendary tiger entering a helpless flock of sheep. Its presence immediately changed the entire dynamic of the battle.

These enemy Pokémon, with a maximum strength of only Gym Leader level, were absolutely no match for Alakazam's superior power and skill. With every precise swing of its Psycho Cut attack, another opposing Pokémon was struck down and eliminated from the fight.

"A King-level trainer?!" Peter looked at the dominant Alakazam with his heart seizing in sudden panic. The realization of what they were truly facing hit him like a physical blow, and he immediately shouted loudly to his remaining forces: "Run! Everyone run! Split up and run in different directions!"

But at this crucial point, Jacob had no intention of giving any of them a chance to escape justice. He hardened his resolve and shouted with commanding authority: "Alakazam! Stop anyone who tries to run!"

Alakazam heard Jacob's command clearly, and its figure flashed with incredible speed. It used Teleport to instantly appear beside a fleeing poacher who thought he had found safety. With a single, decisive slash of its blade-like arm, Alakazam cut the criminal down permanently. The body fell to the ground immediately, creating a scene that intimidated everyone still present on the battlefield.

"Try to run if you want," Jacob called out coldly to the remaining poachers. "Let's see if your legs are faster than Alakazam's Teleport ability."
