It was getting light.

After agreeing on their testimonies, Jacob and Nina drove back to the secret realm.

As soon as the two walked into the dormitory, they saw Maximus sitting on the sofa with a stern face. It seemed that he hadn't slept all night.

"Master, I wish you a Happy New Year," Jacob's reaction was quite quick. He felt uneasy when he saw Maximus's expression, so he immediately wished him a Happy New Year.

Looking at Jacob's actions, Nina couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Most of Maximus's anger was dissipated by Jacob's gesture. If it weren't for the need to maintain his master's dignity, he probably would have laughed out loud.

"Don't give me that," Maximus looked at Jacob and asked. "Where did you go last night? Why are you just coming back now?"

"Master, please listen to my explanation," Jacob spoke quickly and described his experience the previous night in vivid detail.

"We accidentally entered the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm last night..."

Jacob kept the parts about Iron Valiant and his rewards secret, and told Maximus everything else that had happened without reservation, including the encounter with the Priest member.

The plot of Iron Valiant defeating Articuno was changed by Jacob to the Dream God appearing to save them.

Maximus's expression became more and more serious as Jacob continued talking, especially when he heard that the Priest organization had appeared—he broke out in a cold sweat. If it weren't for the help of the Dream God, he probably would never see his daughter again.

Maximus began to reflect that if his daughter really had an accident, he would hate himself for the rest of his life. Maybe he shouldn't restrict their relationship, as long as he maintained appropriate boundaries.

"Master. Master," Jacob interrupted Maximus's thoughts.

"Have you told anyone else about this?" Maximus looked at Jacob seriously.

Jacob and Nina didn't know about the Priest Organization, but Maximus did. Every official member of the Priest Organization was extremely powerful, and even if he faced an official member, he would be no match.

Once anything involved the Priest organization, it became difficult to handle.

"No," Jacob responded.

"Don't tell anyone about this," Maximus said. "From today on, you have to pay more attention to your own safety. Leave the rest to me. Also, if you see someone wearing a Yamask mask in the future, remember to run away as soon as possible. The Dream God won't help you every time!"

Jacob was dismissive in his heart. Without the Dream God, he would have beaten the Priest member long ago.

A few days later.

Jacob returned to his normal life. Looking at the smiles on the faces of his classmates in the training program, Jacob felt as if the incident in the Dream Secret Realm had never happened. However, the Indeedee, Crescent Feather, and Gastly's Pokemon egg in the system space were reminding Jacob that this was not a dream.

Another major event had happened to Jacob recently.

His cousin Stetson was missing! Also missing with him were his car and a hostess.

After checking the surveillance footage, the Pokemon Association discovered that after Stetson had stayed in his bar for a few hours, he drove toward a country road with a hostess. After that, the surveillance footage could no longer capture him, and both the man and the car had disappeared.

The news of his beloved son's disappearance made Lewis, who was over fifty years old, extremely worried. He once thought that his son had been kidnapped, but the kidnappers hadn't even called in the past few days. Lewis began to have an ominous feeling in his heart.

After searching for several days, there was still no news of Stetson. Lewis became more and more haggard, as if he had aged decades overnight.

After hearing about Stetson's disappearance, Jacob discovered that Stetson had disappeared on the night of the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm incident. Combined with the last place he had driven to, Jacob probably guessed the real reason for Stetson's disappearance.

There was a high probability that Stetson had accidentally entered the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm and died there.

But even if Jacob knew Stetson's whereabouts, he couldn't tell Lewis, because once he revealed the truth about Stetson's disappearance, it would also expose the fact that he had been to the Dream Secret Realm, which would bring more trouble.

Moreover, even taking a step back, telling his uncle about Stetson's death might not necessarily be a good thing for him. He might not be able to accept the news of his beloved son's death and suffer an even greater blow.

It was better to let his uncle keep a glimmer of hope—missing was better than confirmed dead.

Jacob looked at his uncle Lewis, whose hair had turned white with worry, sighed slightly, and could only silently say sorry in his heart.

In such a tense atmosphere, time passed quickly, and in the blink of an eye it was the end of February. The training program was officially declared over, and Jacob boarded the plane back to Frosthollow Province to participate in the annual College Cup competition.

Jacob remembered that half a year ago, when he had come to the capital, he only had three Pokemon: Noibat, Charmander, and Grovyle. Now he had captured a total of ten Pokemon: Noibat, Charizard, Sceptile, Dreepy, Axew, Bagon, Scorbunny, Indeedee, Gastly, and Iron Valiant.

Speaking of Iron Valiant, it didn't show too much hostility toward Jacob when it was awake, and even obeyed Jacob's commands to a certain extent.

This made Jacob quite pleased. It wasn't in vain that he had ordered Alakazam to go up and block two attacks for it in the secret realm. It still had a conscience.

Among Jacob's current ten Pokemon:

Team One: Noibat at peak Lord level, Sceptile at peak Lord level, Charizard at peak Lord level, Dreepy at Overlord level, Axew had just broken through to Lord level, and Bagon had Elite level strength.

Among the Pokemon of the first team, Jacob's core force was still Sceptile, Charizard, and Noibat. The remaining three Pokemon—Dreepy, Axew, and Bagon—had limited strength and needed some time to grow.

As for Jacob's second team Pokemon, none of them had been publicly shown so far. Jacob had also decided to hide all the Pokemon of the second team and train them as his secret weapons.

The leader of the second team was naturally Iron Valiant with Champion-level strength.

The second was Indeedee, which had hatched not long ago, but its strength had reached the Rare level, and because of the effect of the Crescent Feather, its growth speed was extremely fast.

Then there was Shiny Gastly. As it had Ghost-type attributes, it could naturally absorb the core energy of the Poison Bottle to accelerate its growth. Its current strength was the same Rare level as Indeedee's.

Jacob roughly estimated the remaining Ghost-type core power in the Poison Bottle. It was just enough for two Pokemon. If there was another Ghost-type Pokemon, it wouldn't be sufficient.

The last one was Scorbunny, who had now broken through to the Rare level and was ranked last.

In an apartment in the capital.

Lewis, with a face as pale as paper and gray hair, stared at the man wearing a black and white mask across from him. If anyone was there, they would find that this man was nearly identical to the Priest member who had attacked in the Dream Secret Realm.

"Who are you? Didn't you say you had news about my son?" Lewis's voice revealed a trace of exhaustion, and his whole person seemed to have been drained of energy. "Where is my son?"

"Director Lewis," the masked man was tall and had a hoarse voice. "I'm sorry to tell you this news—your son is probably dead."

"Who are you? Don't talk nonsense," Lewis's voice trembled, but he still tried his best to keep his voice calm. "My son is just missing, he is not dead."

"Director Lewis, I understand your feelings. I am also a father," the mysterious man spoke softly with a cold tone. "But Director Lewis, there is no need for me to lie to you. Your son is indeed dead, and he died in the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm."

"Beautiful Dream Secret Realm?" Lewis's pupils trembled. He certainly knew what kind of place the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm was. "How could my son go to that kind of place?"

"Your son was unlucky and mistakenly entered the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm," the mysterious man sighed, his tone full of regret. "I hope you can accept the reality."

"Impossible! Where is the evidence? If he's alive, I want to see him. If he's dead, I want to see his body! Stop talking nonsense here," Lewis shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Director Lewis, I have already told you the truth. It is up to you whether you believe it or not. But this time I arranged to meet you privately not only to tell you the whereabouts of your son, but I actually have one more thing to tell you."

"What's the matter?" Lewis asked with a frown.

"Jacob and Nina also went to the Dream Secret Realm that night and came back alive. I heard that your son had a conflict with Jacob."

"You see, the truth is just such a coincidence. Your son and Jacob had a conflict, and they both strayed into the Dream Secret Realm. As a result, your son died, but Jacob came back alive."

"Director Lewis."

"Don't you think about it? From the time and place your son disappeared, it is not difficult to judge that your son must have mistakenly entered the Beautiful Dream Secret Realm."

"Then why did Jacob hide from you about the Secret Realm and the whereabouts of your son, until now?"

The words of the mysterious man were like whispers of a devil, pulling Lewis into the abyss.

"There is only one possibility—Jacob killed your son in the secret realm."

The silence that followed was deafening. Lewis's face went through a series of emotions - shock, denial, anger, and finally a cold, terrible understanding. The masked man had planted a seed of vengeance that would grow in the fertile soil of a father's grief.

The mysterious figure watched as Lewis's expression hardened, knowing that their work here was done. Sometimes the most effective weapons weren't Pokemon or special items, but simple human emotions twisted into something dark and destructive.

As the masked man prepared to leave, they could see that Lewis was already beginning to believe the poisonous words that had been whispered in his ear. The plan was working perfectly, and soon Jacob would face consequences he never saw coming.

The apartment fell silent except for Lewis's ragged breathing as he processed this terrible revelation. His son was dead, and the young man he had trusted might be responsible. The grief and rage building in his heart would soon transform into something far more dangerous.
