The morning air carries a buzz of purpose as I arrive at the film direction department building for the second time this week. Compared to my last visit, I'm more focused now—no nerves, no guilt. Today is the first proper shoot for Theo's project.
The studio is already set up when I get there. Lights, tripod, camera. There's also a quiet guy standing beside Theo—tall, neat, wearing a hoodie with the sleeves rolled up and a camera bag on his shoulder. Theo introduces him as Evan, his videographer friend.
"He's gonna help me with the technical stuff," Theo says, adjusting the camera lens while checking the lighting. "But I'm still directing."
Evan gives a small nod. I return it. He doesn't talk much. Just like Theo when we first talked.
