I will make it very short..
The story "The Apocalypse Descends" is a mystery + evolution and a Horror-Blending Apocalypse type novel that includes Zombies and other creatures as well.
the setting takes place in earth but with different names for places and things.
the apocalypse happens when thousands of meteriotes crash onto earth without prior notice.
the early tory revolves around Ashford University, a college situated in a second tier city called Ashford City.

There are 2 major highlights that hooks any reader..
But before that:
My story doesn't revolve around a single character, rather it revolves around multiple characters including side characters and their character development as well.
The story is kind of Dual protagonist type that i have inspired from ORV..
there are two male protagonist - Rix and Jake.
Rix (being the primary character) - weak, calculative, (weakActingstrong) type
Jake - Absurdly Strong..
Seraphine : hailed from a very reputable and strong military family. she is a very cold character. the apocalypse happens on her first day of transfer at Ashford.
Rina : A warm girl with cheerful vibe around her. she is known as the campus belle of the college.

Now lets come to the major highlights that i have mentioned above :
1:] The Time Pendent - (A small time pendulum that helps you rewind time by 30 seconds per day)
The primary character Rix somehow ends up having it.
The origin and functionality of that item are all a mystery that fuels the story forward.
Rix ends up learning somehow that he can reverse time by 30 seconds per day..
Yes 30 seconds per day only
We might think what can we do with this 30 seconds?
But imagine you are in a Apocalypse world where a single bite can turn you into a zombie..
Then what?
Isn't that 30 seconds precious then?
Offcourse there are many consequences for using such an insane ability.
Such as Corruption and many other things..
Through many trials and errors and a lot of experiments Rix ends up discovering new and efficient way of of using this pendent.
For a easier visualization, lets consider a simple example:
One day Rix discovered that he can rewind time by 2 sec, 5 sec, and 10 sec so on. though he could rewind only 30 seconds in total. That is he can rewind 10 seconds 3 times , 5 seconds 6 times and so one. With this new discovery Rix realizes many endless possibilities of this pendent.
Such as when an enemy slashes at Rix he may get wounded first time but then he rewinds time by 2 seconds and invades easily and calls it "Too slow"..
Now lets come to the second highlighting feature of my story, that is even more special than this :
In a normal Apocalypse novel, we fight against zombies and level up right?
Yes that is true for my story as well but there is a small twist...
During the day time, the survivors or people try to gather supplies or kill zombies to level up.
But at night...
They are being hunted by Horrific Creatures..
these creatures usually spawns where there is absolute darkness.. These creatures scares the shit out of all the characters in the story.
Usually these creatures have some kind of rules, which is later discovered by the characters in the story.
They don't usually appear in very crowded areas (not because they are scared).
They don't attack people from the get go but rather they feeds on the fear of people before eating them.
For a much easier visualization lets take an example:
Suppose you are inside a dark room alone (surviving).. suddenly you heard a knock on the door, and a familiar voice spoke.. your friends voice , you recognized it...it tells you to open the door and let him in..
As i have said earlier there are some certain rules for these creatures. They can't just blast into your room.
They need some kind of invitation, maybe physically opening the door or verbally allowing then to get inside.
And these creatures are know as Blight Creatures..
There are many tiers to these creatures and different tiers have different types of unique abilities
The one i have mentioned now is the lowest tier Blight creature, So imagine how scarier will the highest tier be?

So then What is actually this pendent?
Who gave it to Rix?
Where did it come from?
What are its full abilities?
What are these horrific creatures that lurks in the shadows?
Where did they come from?
What is their motive?

.
.
There are many other mysteries and question that fuels the story, keeping the readers at edge at every chapter and at every moment..
The story revolves around the earth for a few hundred chapter and then slowly escalated to higher beings such as (Angels and Gods).
This is not just a Kill-level up, kill-level up type novel.
The story tries to give maximum immersion to the readers.
The story uses Hindu Mythologies terms such as (Yugas, dharma power, etc..)
This is a very good novel for binge type readers..
