Chapter 59: Who Gave You the Courage to Kill and Rob?
Seven days later.
Inside the mountain cave.
Ding—
[The host's second disciple has broken through to the True Fate Realm and awakened the Tyrant God Body. Reward: Host gains twenty years of cultivation. Tyrant God Body has reached perfection.]
Chu Feng heard the system's voice and couldn't help but curl his lips slightly into a smile.
With Xiao Chen having contributed sixty years of cultivation from his external training, and now another twenty years from Cao Youqian's breakthrough, his accumulated cultivation had now surpassed the two-hundred-year mark.
The only regret was that his lifespan hadn't increased despite crossing the two-hundred-year threshold.
Not far away, Cao Youqian abruptly opened his eyes, a domineering aura surging around him.
Just by sitting there, he resembled a tyrant reborn.
Qin Qin, sensing the powerful and overbearing force from Cao Youqian, instinctively turned to look at Chu Feng.
"Master, what divine physique did Second Senior Brother awaken?"
Chu Feng said indifferently, "Da Qian didn't awaken a saint physique—he awakened one of the divine physiques: the Tyrant God Body."
Qin Qin: (☄⊙ω⊙)☄
She had initially thought Second Senior Brother had awakened a saint physique, but never expected it to be a divine physique—a once-in-a-century rarity.
Even within a cultivation sacred land like Wendao Academy, only a handful of cultivators were known to awaken divine physiques at the True Fate Realm.
As the three conversed, a sudden banging sound came from the formation at the cave's entrance—it seemed someone was trying to force their way in.
In an instant, Chu Feng and his two disciples turned their attention toward the disturbance.
"Da Qian, seems the heavenly phenomenon you triggered has drawn quite a bit of attention," Chu Feng said with a calm smile.
Cao Youqian snorted disdainfully, "These fools have no idea what kind of existence they're provoking. Master, may I kill a few to make an example of them?"
Chu Feng responded evenly, "Naturally. Since you've awakened the Tyrant God Body, acting with a bit of force is only fitting—especially since they're the ones who came to provoke us first."
"Good. Then today I'll test my strength on these fools and see just how powerful I've become."
As he spoke, Cao Youqian began stretching, eagerness gleaming in his eyes.
Qin Qin, curious about her senior brother's strength, obediently followed behind her master and second senior brother.
Outside the cave, a large crowd had already gathered. Over a hundred cultivators stood before the formation, gazing at it with eyes full of greed.
"Keep pushing! Whatever triggered the heavenly phenomenon is inside that cave! Once we break the formation, we'll divide the treasure among us!"
A thin middle-aged man was barking out commands.
Dozens of cultivators unleashed their techniques.
A flood of attacks landed on the formation.
Boom!
With a loud explosion, the formation shattered.
Several cultivators immediately charged into the cave.
But in the very next second, seven or eight of them came flying back out, crashing heavily into the crowd.
The others halted at once, staring warily toward the cave entrance.
"Which blind fool dares disturb this young master's closed-door cultivation?!"
A wild, arrogant voice echoed from within the cave.
The onlookers exchanged confused glances, their gazes turning toward the middle-aged man who had been leading them.
The man looked just as dumbfounded—had they really disturbed someone's cultivation?
But who in seclusion would trigger a heavenly phenomenon of that scale?
It had to be someone who'd stolen some great treasure that rightfully belonged to them all.
As the crowd was still stunned, a tall, muscular young man stepped out of the cave, striding with the arrogance of one who didn't even recognize his own kin.
As the young man stepped out, all eyes locked onto him once again.
This one was definitely not ordinary.
That same thought surfaced involuntarily in the minds of everyone present the moment they laid eyes on him.
Inside the cave, Qin Qin looked at her Second Senior Brother's strutting posture and couldn't help but mutter quietly, "Why does Second Senior Brother give off such a spoiled rich kid vibe?"
Chu Feng chuckled and replied, "Be more confident—remove the word 'vibe.' He is a spoiled rich kid."
Cao Youqian heard the conversation between his master and junior sister and felt a little awkward.
'Wait… is my walking posture not domineering enough?'
'Forget it. I'll just flatten these people with my "domineering" posture and be done with it.'
He swept his eyes over the crowd and said coldly, "Are you all deaf? Didn't you hear me talking to you earlier?"
The middle-aged man forced a smile. "Apologies, little brother. We just didn't expect this cave to already be occupied. Please forgive us for the disturbance.
Might I ask if you found something valuable inside? Perhaps you'd be willing to share it with everyone?"
"Heh."
Cao Youqian sneered. "Seems like you don't understand human speech. I already said I was cultivating inside. What, you still want to get acquainted with my fists?"
Arrogant. Absolutely arrogant!
These men weren't from any noble sects.
But they were used to living life on a knife's edge, the type to kill at the slightest offense.
And now, a mere brat was provoking them?
The middle-aged man's face darkened as he shouted harshly, "Kill this little punk and split his storage pouch! Kill him!"
As soon as he finished speaking, over a dozen cultivators raised their weapons and charged toward Cao Youqian.
In an instant, blades and swords rained down, engulfing him.
But Cao Youqian didn't budge, standing perfectly still as the weapons slashed down toward him.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Just as the attacks were about to strike, a multicolored protective shield around his body easily blocked every one of them.
"Hmph. I really wonder—who gave trash like you the courage to kill and rob?"
Cao Youqian said, his face twisted with mockery.
The dozen cultivators froze, their expressions changing drastically.
Several of them shouted in panic:
"Brother Blood Blade! This kid's not normal—please step in!"
The middle-aged man narrowed his eyes, sizing up Cao Youqian with a cold smirk. "So it turns out you're a body cultivator. No wonder you're so bold. If you were a Heaven Origin cultivator, I might be cautious—but sadly, you're only at the True Fate Realm."
As he finished speaking, he slowly drew a long blade from behind him.
It was a blood-red saber.
The moment it was unsheathed, it released a terrifying aura of bloodlust and slaughter.
Blood Blade Old Fiend's body radiated an overwhelming pressure, blanketing half the mountainside.
Cao Youqian felt the oppressive aura, but there wasn't a trace of fear on his face.
Instead, his excitement only grew.
"Heaven Origin Realm… then you must be the infamous Blood Blade Old Fiend, correct?"
When Qin Qin heard the name Blood Blade Old Fiend, a hint of concern surfaced on her face.
Back at Qunfang Pavilion, she had heard tales about him. Though he was a newly ascended Heaven Origin cultivator, his crimson blade had already made him a feared name across the land.
It was said he had entered the path of killing—and with each person he killed, his blood blade grew stronger.
Judging by the murderous aura emanating from that blade, it had likely claimed countless lives.
Blood Blade Old Fiend grinned. "Scared now, boy? Too late. Once my blade is drawn, it must taste blood. Today, I'll feed it with yours—and achieve my thousandth kill!"
