Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

"Stop."

The cloaked man was stunned when he saw Rey suddenly appearing while the monsters around him were trembling.

"Who are you?" the cloaked man asked warily.

If Rey hadn't spoken, he wouldn't have known anyone was here.

Rey didn't panic at all. "Didn't you realise that there are less than a hundred monsters here?"

The cloaked man paused and really counted them.

"82, strange, why are 18 missing?"

"You ask me, who am I asking? In short, you must catch a hundred monsters before you can advance."

"Oh, thank you."

Rey tried his best to hold back his laughter. He was ready to fight, but it turned out that this man was really not very smart.

But he wasn't happy for long.

The cloaked man added, "But my magic circle has been activated, and I can't stop it."

The next moment, streaks of purple light emitted from the monster's body, showing its presence.

The largest one was so dazzling that it absorbed all the other lights and finally returned to the monster's body.

The demonic wolf, which could only reach D level, had a surge of magic power, rising steadily, making it impossible to ignore.

Rey had no time to stop him and could only watch as the points and magic stones that could have been collected turned into powder and were completely absorbed by the magic wolf.

What a big loss; the peak D-level wolf he killed was definitely not as good as the 82 other D-level monsters, and the C-level ones were almost the same.

When he thought this, the cloaked man took out a bottle containing the blood of an unknown creature.

"Friend, thank you for the reminder, but fortunately I was prepared; otherwise, I would have failed."

Rey didn't know what it was, but he knew he couldn't let the cloaked man use it.

He was just talking. If a C-level monster really appeared, he wouldn't be able to escape in time.

Fortunately, the man in the cloak was not particularly wary of him. Rey was wrapped in the wind and accelerated instantly, grabbing the bottle.

"What are you doing? Return the bottle to me quickly. If it's too late, the monster will fail to advance, and it will be difficult to succeed next time."

Seeing him anxious but not taking action, Rey felt a little guilty in his conscience.

Finally, Rey stopped trying to hide it. "I stole those eighteen monsters. Don't even think about advancing. Just give up."

The cloaked man looked at him for a long time, and then he found out angrily that Rey was the enemy from the beginning.

He took out his staff and directed the monsters to attack.

"Damn it, I will kill you."

Hearing what the cloaked man said, Rey reluctantly drew his sword.

The other party is so easy to deceive, making it look like he is the villain.

Rey covered the sword with magic power and cut through the magic fireball with one sword. "Have you done anything bad?"

The cloaked man saw that the magic was ineffective, and the monsters who were his teammates were reluctant to act. He frowned and said, "Of course, I plan to lead the group of monsters to attack the small town nearby to prove my strength to the higher-ups."

As the magic power continued to be injected, the sword in Rey's hand emitted a golden light that illuminated the surroundings.

He clenched the hilt of the sword. "Then I have a reason not to hold it back. I hope you can go to a simpler world when you are reincarnated."

Both the cloaked man and the demon wolf have higher combat power than him, so the STOP cannot take effect.

The demonic wolf didn't attack him because it seemed that it was too scared to act rashly.

"Arrogant." Although the man in the cloak said so, he was really afraid of Rey's strength.

Being able to cut off magic with swordsmanship not only shows the superb swordsmanship, but Rey's own swordsmanship skills cannot be low.

He cast the magic just now casually, but Rey's movements of swinging the sword were also casual.

He turned to the demon wolf on the side and said, "Come on, why are you still standing there in a daze?"

The coercive force of the collar allows the demon wolf to launch an offensive against Rey, but if you look closely, you will find that the demon wolf does not attack with all its strength. It is always on guard against Rey's actions.

The golden sword light collided with the sharp edge produced on the sharp claws. Logically speaking, the demon wolf had higher combat power, and its physical strength was the winner, but in the end, it was Rey who held it firmly down.

The demon wolf ran around Rey, launching attacks from time to time. The latter even blocked all attacks by just standing still.

The occasional wind balls and rock bombs that flew over were either dodged sideways or directly smashed by him.

Magic does not begin to have destructive power until the intermediate level, so it is easy for a junior magician to defeat those weaker than him.

But when you encounter opponents of the same level, it will basically be an inseparable situation.

If there is an exception, the only one is Rey, who has mastered basic magic.

Rey concentrated his magic power while swinging his sword, raised his sword to block the sharp teeth of the demon wolf, and then threw it into the air with a sudden force.

The magic wolf has wind attributes, and it tries to adjust its body in the air so that it can land smoothly.

Rey didn't give it a chance and tied its hind legs with two water whips. Even if it was freed by its powerful muscles, it inevitably stopped for a moment.

At this moment, Rey's eyes emitted a strange fusion light, and the demon wolf couldn't even defend itself. It stayed in the air and ate a few fireballs and wind blades before being knocked away with a wailing sound.

On the cloaked man's side, Rey didn't even look back and cut off the incoming magic with one sword.

The cloaked man was visibly shaken when he saw that the peak C-level monster was seriously injured.

His hand holding the staff was shaking.

Generally speaking, monsters of the same level have a considerable advantage over humans, so a team of adventurers can hunt down a monster of the same level.

But now, the monster's magic power is obviously higher than Rey's, and they are still two against one, but they can't beat him.

What shocked him the most was.

"You actually have four attributes of magic that have reached the elementary level."

Although the human race has a total of seven attributes of qualifications, each person's talent is different, and they may only specialise in one magic.

In addition, people's lifespans are not long, and their energy is limited, so they usually only improve the attribute with the highest talent.

For example, one person has strong talent for fire magic and weak talent for water magic.

Then it may take him one year to become a junior magician by absorbing the magic power of the fire element and learning the primary magic of the fire system, but it will take ten years for him to learn the primary magic of the water system and absorb the water element magic.

The man in the cloak could not break through to the intermediate-level magician. It took him a long time. Now he is only at the elementary level of fire and earth elements, but the boy in front of him is the fourth element.

"Damn it." The cloaked man cursed angrily. He wanted to run away. He couldn't win in a head-on fight.

Rey also saw the cloaked man's thoughts, but he had no intention of letting him go.

The man in the cloak said that he was definitely not a good person if he planned to lead a group of monsters to attack the city.

As for the magic wolf, it's already like this; just kill it. Although it's a loss, it's still a point.

When Rey was about to take action, the cloaked man gritted his teeth in distress and threw out two scrolls.

Rey didn't know what it was, and it took him a moment to realise the danger.

I saw one of the scrolls burnt out, and a hot fireball ate away a lot of the surrounding magic, showing an orange colour and distorting the air.

How could Rey not know what magic it was? His fire magic was also intermediate.

The fireball, a ball of fire several times larger than his body, charred the air and came straight towards him.

At the same time, with his peripheral vision, he saw another scroll slightly distorting the space, disappearing with a man and a beast.

"I made it."

This guy is too rich.
