Noel rushed up to his side. "So, if for instance I actually liked her, what would you say?" Noel asked.
"So you do like her, well that's nice," Riven replied. He had a faint smile on his face.
"She is nice, and doesn't act pompous. I'm sure she would be a good match for you, so go give it a shot. You could use this gala as an opportunity to start talking to her," Riven said.
"What? The gala? I can't possibly do that, it's too sudden," Noel said.
"There is no better time than now, Noel, so get to it," Riven said. Noel took a deep breath and looked at Chloe. He clenched his fist; he was going for it today.
They made it to a door, and the butler stood in front of it and faced them, hands behind his back. He spoke, "The young prince and the young princess, please step up. Your entrance will be first."
Robert and Chloe stepped up, and then he opened the door for them.
They walked past and entered another corridor that led to stairs.
