Alina nodded understandingly. "It's alright, Aunt. Don't worry about us."
Lyla smiled faintly, brushing Alina's hair from her forehead the way she always did. "I'll come back in the evening, okay? Don't skip lunch."
"I won't," Alina said, smiling gently.
Aunt Lyla gave a polite nod to Georgia and Dante before gathering her things. "Doctor Georgia, thank you again. You're truly wonderful."
Georgia returned the smile warmly. "Take care, Mrs. Lyla. Remember what I said, breathe and rest."
Lyla nodded once more and hurried toward the hallway, her heels clicking lightly against the tile floor.
As the door closed behind her, the room grew quiet again. Only Alina, Dante, and Georgia remained, sunlight spilling through the curtain, the soft rhythm of her mother's breathing filling the stillness.
Georgia looked after the door for a moment before glancing back at Alina. "She's a kind woman," she said softly. "But she carries too much worry."
Alina smiled faintly. "Yes, she always has."
