Boo snorted from the back, trying not to burst out laughing.
Felix flipped to the next page and continued earnestly, "Miss Alina also knows that I like quiet activities. She never forces me to join anything I don't like, like playing with others."
Luna muttered under her breath, "That's P.E. class."
Felix ignored her smoothly. "And last reason," he said, lifting his chin slightly, "Miss Alina once said everyone learns at their own pace. That means when I nap during lessons, I am still technically learning."
The classroom went silent for one stunned heartbeat—then Boo exploded in laughter, spinning midair while clapping his hands.
Professor Hobb's jaw dropped. "WHAT?!"
Felix blinked calmly, his tails swaying elegantly. "She said knowledge enters better when the mind is calm. And I am very calm when asleep."
Drake fell forward onto his desk, laughing so hard that tiny flames puffed out of his nose. "That's genius! Sleep-learning! I need to try that!"
