That enormous crimson hand that blotted out the sky still clutched tightly onto the black streak of light stretching across the heavens. Blood continuously evaporated, only to condense once more.
Every single drop seemed to burn with Sarah's life essence, staining the entire sky a blinding crimson, while the nuclear weapon, which continued struggling to correct its flight path, finally began to drift away with a clearly visible deviation.
"AHHH—!!"
Sarah slowly opened her eyes. Her crimson pupils were already bloodshot. The fair complexion she once possessed rapidly faded away, as though she had aged decades within the span of only a few dozen seconds. Yet the right hand she held aloft toward the skies did not tremble in the slightest. Instead, accompanied by a low shout, she swung it fiercely to the side once more.
