Between the two boss-type monsters, the one Gabriel was most excited to extract was, without a doubt, the Lake Serpent King.
The reason? It was rather simple. Stronger monsters often rewarded more than weaker beasts.
Though they were equally expensive to extract, if it were left to him alone, he would pick a stronger monster over a weaker one any day.
Gabriel's lips parted as he proceeded to speak. "Extra—"
However, he wasn't able to finish his words as he noticed several shadows through his tent.
A frown appeared on his face, and he swiftly got to his feet.
"Are you sure this is the tent?"
"Yes, I'm very certain. We just need to sneak in there and get rid of him."
Two figures whispered cautiously among themselves. They retrieved a strange item and crushed it. Suddenly, the two vanished.
Inside the tent, Gabriel had clearly seen this. However, he remained calm—though a hint of alertness flashed through his electric blue eyes.
