Several days later.
On the main trade route leading to Stellar City.
Unlike the Valerian Kingdom and the rest of the world, the elves still used beasts as their primary means of transportation.
The reason for this was that they felt much safer and closer to nature.
At this moment, a carriage pulled by a magical beast was traveling rapidly along the road. Its wheels rolled over the gravel-covered ground with a continuous series of soft rattling sounds, while merchants and adventurers traveling between cities could already be seen passing along both sides of the road in more modern vehicles.
The occasional roar of an engine broke through the rhythmic sound of hooves, while roadside vendors called out to passing travelers, advertising everything from fresh provisions to inexpensive magical tools.
Gabriel sat inside the carriage, holding an information bulletin he had just purchased from a roadside station.
