"Negotiate peace?" Jiraiya was taken aback. "That seems incredibly difficult. Even ignoring whether Uchiha Kai will abandon his followers, just the deaths of the Third Mizukage and Raikage, and the Four-Tails jinchuriki, will be enough to ignite the fury of those three nations. Given their temperament, a peaceful negotiation is practically impossible."

No one challenged Jiraiya's blunt assessment. All eyes turned to Minato Namikaze. His proposal clearly implied a plan.

"Fear," Minato said after a moment, choosing his words carefully. "Once they witness the true extent of Uchiha Kai's power, their resolve will crumble."

"Then, if Uchiha Kai and the other four nations are willing to compromise, peace can be achieved."

His enigmatic statement left many baffled. Only Hiruzen's cloudy old eyes flickered with understanding. "You mean Uchiha Kai will do something even more shocking?"

The color drained from everyone's faces. The assassinations of the Third Mizukage and Raikage, along with the Four-Tails jinchuriki, were already beyond comprehension.

Now Minato was suggesting this was only the beginning. A lifetime of experience seemed insignificant compared to Kai's meteoric rise.

"Yes. I don't know exactly what he'll do, but my intuition tells me it's imminent," Minato said, his expression grave.

"This is also the message Lord Gamabunta gave me: Uchiha Kai will become a force that will overturn the shinobi world."

"The prophesied child, as Gamabunta called him?" Jiraiya asked, his expression shifting.

During his training at Myōboku Mountain, Jiraiya had heard of Gamabunta's prophetic abilities.

The prophecy of the child's arrival was why, during the Second Great Ninja War, Jiraiya had taken Nagato and his companions as students, despite Ōrochimaru's objections, and imparted his full knowledge of ninjutsu.

The reason for all this was witnessing Nagato's Rinnegan, a dōjutsu said to be possessed only by the Sage of Six Paths.

He'd assumed the prophecy referred to Nagato, but Kai's emergence had completely overturned his expectations.

"Yes," Minato nodded. "Before I left, Lord Gamabunta mentioned that his judgment of people is rarely wrong, but with Uchiha Kai, he couldn't see through him. It felt as if he transcended the world's destiny."

Hiruzen tapped his fingers on the armrest, considering the increasingly mystical statements.

"Since even Myōboku Mountain's sage says so, we'll try Minato's suggestion and attend the Five Kage Summit."

"Fugaku and Shisui, I want you to find Kai and convince him to accept our proposal."

"Understood, Hokage-sama," Fugaku replied immediately.

Hiruzen dismissed them. "You two may leave. Minato will represent me at the summit, accompanied by Jiraiya and Tsunade. This is a direct order, Tsunade. Don't refuse."

Tsunade was taken aback. She'd only returned to Konoha to visit graves, never expecting to be drawn into such a significant event.

However, remembering the unusual recipes Kai had given her, her curiosity overcame her reservations, and she silently agreed.

"Hokage-sama, Shisui and I will take our leave," Fugaku said before vanishing with Shisui.

As they left the Hokage building and stepped onto the street, Fugaku noticed someone in a nearby alley. "Mikoto, what are you doing here?"

Tensions between the Uchiha clan and Konoha were high, though not openly hostile. Mikoto, heavily pregnant, wouldn't normally be away from the Uchiha compound.

"It's Itachi. He left on a chūnin mission yesterday and hasn't returned. I fear he's gone to find Kai," Mikoto said anxiously.

Fugaku grabbed her shoulder, and they disappeared using the Body Flicker Technique. Within minutes, they were back at the Uchiha compound.

"Mikoto, are you alright?" Fugaku asked, concerned. "That was the Hokage building. If the Anbu saw Itachi leave, he'd be branded a rogue ninja."

Mikoto's face paled. "Fugaku, I'm sorry, I was too worried."

"Itachi's absence might go unnoticed for a short time, but it will eventually be discovered. What do we do?"

Kai's recent defection had made the Uchiha clan's position in Konoha even more precarious.

Some hardliners were openly advocating for following Kai's example, leaving Konoha to establish their own nation. Only Fugaku and Shisui's strength had prevented an escalation.

"Don't worry. Hiruzen has tasked Shisui and me with capturing Kai. I'll claim Itachi is with us on a mission.

No one will suspect a thing," Fugaku said hesitantly. "Moreover, Minato will be accompanied by Jiraiya and Tsunade to the Land of Iron for the Five Kage Summit.

The village's attention will be fully focused on that, minimizing scrutiny on Itachi's absence."

"My main concern is what those restless Uchiha might do while Shisui and I are away."

Fugaku looked towards the brightly lit Uchiha compound. He thought of the Senju clan, their former rivals, consumed by their love of war and honor, ultimately suffering heavy losses and dwindling in numbers.

The Uchiha clan's current strength was merely a facade. Without a leader like Madara, they would be easily crushed by the Five Great Nations.

Kai's current importance stemmed not only from his Uchiha heritage but also from his possession of the Mangekyo Sharingan, capable of controlling tailed beasts—a power that terrified the great nations.
