Crazy! Seeing Rōshi, so full of himself, ready to take on everyone alone, Kai sighed. This guy was practically begging for it. In the original timeline, this would have been suicidal.
"Boss, this Four-Tails jinchuriki is skilled in Lava Release, and he's tough. Several of us attacked him earlier, and we couldn't even restrain him," Kakuzu said, his face grim.
"Once he uses Lava Release, he'll go underground, making him hard to track."
Even Sasori, who could wipe out a country with his hundreds of puppets, found him difficult to handle. Hidan and Kakuzu were no match either.
"Don't worry, I've got this," Kai said, patting Kakuzu's shoulder.
"Go wild."
Everyone's eyes lit up at his words. Deidara, always eager for a fight, was the first to move.
"Haha! I knew you had a plan, Boss! Let's go crazy! I've been bottling this up since Iwagakure."
Deidara leaped forward, unleashing clay spiders hidden around them, sending them swarming towards Rōshi and his men.
"Hmph!"
Deidara formed a hand seal, detonating the clay spiders.
"Lava Release: Scorching Stream Rock Technique!"
Rōshi roared, instantly creating molten rock that deflected the exploding wave.
"Deidara, you're betraying Iwagakure! Today, I, Rōshi, will wipe you all out!"
Rōshi, surrounded by swirling lava, burst through the explosion.
"Set up the barrier! Seal them all in! We've bought ourselves enough time."
Rōshi's roar echoed as the scattered Iwagakure ninjas formed hand seals and slammed their hands onto the ground.
"Earth Release: Earth Rising Barrier!"
A wave of yellow light spread outward, forming a massive barrier, sealing off a half-kilometer radius.
Rōshi grinned, a cruel glint in his eyes. "Watch. I, Rōshi, the Four-Tails jinchuriki, will crush you all here."
"Lava Release: Ash Stone Seal Technique:!"
Rōshi formed hand seals, breaking his jinchuriki seal. Molten lava erupted, forming a crimson tailed beast cloak. His bloodshot eyes and sharp fangs made him look like a miniature tailed beast. The ground beneath him melted, bubbling with lava.
"Roar!"
Rōshi roared, launching himself towards Deidara like a rocket.

Deidara, despite his youth, possessed incredible combat experience and a ruthless streak. He launched two large clay birds, creating a powerful gust of wind as they flew towards Rōshi. As they approached, Deidara formed a hand seal.
"Hmph!"
Boom!
The two clay birds exploded. Rōshi emerged from the explosion, his two tails lashing out at Deidara.
"Got him!" Rōshi grinned, but the next moment, Deidara, using an uncanny maneuver, evaded the capture, retreating swiftly.
Bang!
Rock shattered, the intense heat melting the spot where Rōshi had struck. Deidara's crazed expression faltered, replaced with a hint of fear.
"Brat, don't be reckless. Wait for the Boss's orders. I won't save you next time," Sasori said coldly.
He'd used chakra threads to alter Deidara's trajectory at the last moment, preventing a potentially fatal blow.
"Rōshi has the upper hand. A jinchuriki is powerful enough to fight a whole village. If we hold the barrier, it's a sure win," an Iwagakure ninja said excitedly.
But his words were cut short.
"Ready?" Kai asked Kisame, a voice echoing in his mind.
Ding! Congratulations, host! Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique is now max level.
"Boss, are you serious?" Kisame couldn't help but ask. The Great Waterfall Technique was his ultimate technique, requiring Samehada's chakra to perform.
It was as difficult as learning a forbidden technique. Kai learning it on the spot seemed impossible.
"Hmph, within this barrier, with my tailed beast cloak, don't even think about resisting. Surrender!"
Rōshi, aiming to capture Kai first, charged towards him, leaving a trail of afterimages.
Kakuzu and the others tensed, their eyes fixed on Kai, eager for his command but hesitant to act without it.
"Go!" Kai's eyes narrowed, his nine-tomoe Sharingan activated as his hands moved with blinding speed.
Kisame was especially shocked; Kai, who had just asked him about the Great Waterfall Technique, now performed the hand seals with far greater speed and skill than he could ever manage.
"Kisame, move! Don't delay the Boss's plan!" Zabuza exclaimed, equally astonished. Even he hadn't mastered the Great Waterfall Technique, yet Kai's speed, chakra control, and transformation were beyond comprehension. He'd mastered it instantly!
"Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique!"
Kai drew immense chakra, unleashing a massive wave that dwarfed even Kisame's own technique.
The Three-Tails channeled its chakra into the jutsu. It wasn't a jutsu; it was an ocean. The wave overwhelmed Kisame's technique.
Had he not been given orders, Kisame would have been speechless, his earlier doubts completely forgotten.
Compared to Kai, his Great Waterfall Technique was nothing more than a pathetic trickle.
