In truth, although King Tigal was a very powerful man, Vinaris knew that Tigal was not very smart. For the past ten years, Vinaris was the one who had been pulling the strings of the kingdom from behind the scenes. Vinaris had filled Tigal's head with thoughts of the Queen for years, and Vinaris made Tigal believe that the Queen should've chosen him as the King.
Vinaris dropped hints about the Queen being a failure many times, and when Tigal brought up the idea of a coup, Vinaris was the first person to show his support and push Tigal to begin the bloody Jadar war!
