Harold had a tired look on his face, and he gave Valeria a small smile when she looked at him before he rubbed the part of his stomach that the phoenix had healed.
"Thanks for coming to help me back there."
Harold spoke up as Valeria came to sit beside him, and Valeria shook her head and said it was fine.
"Uhm… you're welcome. Family looks out for each other."
Harold raised a brow when he heard this from Valeria, and Harold felt a bit of amusement rising from deep inside him! That didn't sound like something Valeria would ever say by herself, so Harold figured that she must've heard it from someone else recently.
"I'm guessing Jason said that to you after healing me?"
Valeria's cheeks reddened slightly, and she cursed how smart Harold was. Valeria pouted before nodding, and Harold chuckled! Harold reached out to pat her on the head, but Valeria dodged Harold's hand and frowned at him.
"Don't treat me like a child. Lie down and get some more rest; you look exhausted."
