Jason and Gina were both standing with angry expressions on their faces as Jason finally finished his rant. Even though Jason had made sense, that didn't mean that Gina was simply going to let go of everything that she was feeling, and Jason could tell that there was still a bit of anger in Gina's eyes. Gina turned away from Jason and looked down at the ground with a frown, and Jason finally stepped close to her and took her by the shoulders before speaking in a tense voice.
"I don't want to see you killed. Once was more than enough for me. So if I have to keep you away from a beast like that to protect you, then that is exactly what I'll do."
"I need to know that you trust me."
Gina said this with a frown, and Jason mirrored her expression with a frown of his own.
"Of course I fucking trust you. Why wouldn't I?"
