Chapter 92 - Returning home

The journey back to the Sky Demon Sect was quiet. Too quiet.

Ravihiro walked through the dense forest, his clothes torn, his body aching from the aftermath of the tribulation. His every step left behind faint traces of burned earth, remnants of the lightning that had ravaged his body. His mind, however, was sharp—replaying everything that had happened.

The illusions. The battle. The realization.

He had survived.

Not just the tribulation, but himself.

He exhaled, glancing up at the sky. "Hah… Maybe now I can actually get some rest."

A deep growl rumbled nearby.

Ravihiro sighed, looking over his shoulder. A massive spirit beast, resembling a thunder-scaled panther, was glaring at him from the trees. It had clearly been attracted by the remnants of his tribulation.

"...I'm not in the mood," Ravihiro muttered.

The panther's ears twitched. Then, in a rare moment of wisdom, it slowly backed away into the shadows and disappeared.

"Smart choice."

With a stretch, Ravihiro continued his walk.

Sky Demon Sect- The Grand Return

The Sky Demon Sect was always a place of chaos. Strong warriors, scheming elders, and disciples constantly fighting for power.

But today, it was different.

Today, something was coming.

Inside the grand halls of the sect, a storm of emotions was brewing.

Haruno was pacing back and forth, her golden eyes twitching. "WHERE IS HE?!"

Rumina sat calmly at a tea table, sipping from her cup. "You're worried, aren't you?" She smirked.

"SHUT UP!"

Rumina chuckled.

Lord Bhridvarta—the sect master—stood near the window, arms crossed. His sharp gaze watched the horizon. "He's alive," he said, voice steady. "I can feel it."

Huo, standing beside him, scoffed. "Of course Uncle 's alive. If he died, the heavens would probably apologize and revive him out of fear."

The group turned as a disciple ran into the hall, gasping for breath.

"HE'S BACK!"

For a moment, silence.

Then—

A blur shot past the disciple.

Haruno, moving faster than anyone could react, bolted out of the hall.

Lord Bhridvarta sighed. "Here we go."

Entrance to the Sect

Ravihiro had barely set foot past the sect's gates when he heard it.

"RAVIHIIIIROOOOOOO!!!"

His instincts screamed at him.

Dodge!

But before he could react, something heavy crashed into him, nearly knocking the wind out of his lungs.

Haruno.

His Sister clung to him, squeezing him tight. "You IDIOT! DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS?!"

Ravihiro twitched. "You… are crushing… my ribs…"

Haruno immediately pulled back, eyes welling up. "You're okay, right? Nothing missing? No extra arms? No—"

"I'm fine," Ravihiro sighed.

But before he could even breathe, another presence loomed.

Rumina.

She walked toward him with a calm, unreadable smile. "Welcome back," she said smoothly.

Ravihiro frowned. "...Why are you looking at me like that?"

Haruno gulped. "Uh… I'll just… stand over here."

Without warning, Rumina grabbed Ravihiro's collar and pulled him down to her eye level.

"Do you have any idea how much trouble you've caused?"

Ravihiro blinked. "...I—"

She suddenly leaned in—so close that their lips almost touched.

His brain froze.

Then—flick!

She flicked his forehead. Hard.

"Idiot." She smirked. "But… welcome back."

Haruno burst out laughing. "HAHAHA! SHE GOT YOU GOOD!"

Ravihiro rubbed his forehead, glaring at her. "That hurt, damn it."

Rumina shrugged. "You deserved it."

Before things could escalate, another presence arrived.

Sect Master Lord Bhridvarta

He stood before Ravihiro, his usual stoic expression firm. But there was something… different in his eyes.

Pride.

"You succeeded," Lord said.

Ravihiro nodded. "Yeah."

A long pause.

Then, Lord smirked. "Good. Now get inside before the disciples start worshipping you as a lightning god."

Ravihiro sighed. "Too late."

Sure enough, in the distance, several disciples were staring at him in awe. Some were whispering.

"Did you see that aura? He survived a celestial tribulation!"

"I heard he fought the heavens and won!"

"He's practically immortal now, right?!"

"Should we… bow?"

Ravihiro massaged his temples. "This is going to be annoying." than says There is nothing immortal in this world by cultivation you can only increase lifespan the only thing immortal is only energy.

Than Haruno grinned. "Enjoy your new fan club, oh great Lightning Lord."

Ravihiro shot her a look. "I will throw you into a tree."

The Suspicion

Later that night, Ravihiro sat in his quarters, staring at the moonlit sky.

Something was off.

The tribulation—

It wasn't normal.

He had pushed past the limits of human cultivation, yes. But the way the lightning had tested him…

It felt planned.

Like something—or someone—was watching.

He clenched his fists.

If he had truly broken the boundaries of existence, what else would come for him?

His thoughts were interrupted as a soft knock echoed through his door.

"Enter."

The door creaked open.

Rumina.

She stepped inside, arms crossed, watching him carefully. "You're thinking too much."

Ravihiro smirked. "That obvious?"

She walked closer, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You won, Ravihiro. You survived."

He sighed. "That's the problem."

Rumina raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Ravihiro looked at her, eyes unreadable. "I don't think the heavens wanted me to survive."

Silence.

Then—

Rumina's eyes darkened.

"...Then we prepare," she said softly.

Ravihiro smirked, leaning back. "Of course."

In the distance, thunder rumbled.

Something was coming.

And Ravihiro was ready.
