Zane's POV ~
Silas and I ended up grabbing a couple of drinks and made our way toward Cassian and Knox's table, where we sat down to observe their drunken banter. They were completely wasted, lost in a world of slurred words and exaggerated emotions.
"I'm sorry you had to sit here and witness these two in such an embarrassing state, Zane," Silas muttered with a tired sigh, rubbing his temple as if this wasn't his first time dealing with them like this. "I'm pretty sure they came to my restaurant because I'm the nice Alpha. You know, the quiet one after Rhys, of course. And clearly, they couldn't afford to be seen like this in any other restaurant where someone might whip out a phone and plaster their faces all over the internet. So… here we are."
