Just as Sasuke reached his weakest point, Naruto seized the opportunity. His chakra merged perfectly with the Nine Tails, his entire body surrounded by a searing golden aura—like an invincible war god.
In his hand, he held a golden Rasengan, charged and ready.
"Sasuke, turn back!" Naruto roared. The Rasengan in his palm expanded, surging forward with a world-shattering force toward Sasuke.
Minato Namikaze wasn't idle either. Using Flying Thunder God, he instantly appeared behind Sasuke, a Rasengan in his hand slamming toward Susanoo's back.
Caught between attacks from both the front and rear, Sasuke gritted his teeth and poured every ounce of chakra into Susanoo, attempting to leap away from the impending blow.
But in that moment, Hashirama Senju clasped his hands together. Countless massive wooden tendrils burst from the ground, sweeping toward Sasuke and binding him in place.
Trapped and unable to dodge, Sasuke could only watch as Naruto's and Minato's Rasengan simultaneously struck Susanoo.
A blinding light erupted, and under the double impact, Susanoo cracked with countless fractures.
Sasuke coughed up a mouthful of blood, his body on the verge of collapse. Yet he still forced himself to stay upright, the madness and resolve in his eyes undiminished.
And then—the Gedo Statue let out a sudden roar.
Its form began to shift dramatically as crimson chakra surged skyward, tightly wrapping around its body.
Sasuke was instantly engulfed by that red chakra. His aura flared once more, and Susanoo was reignited in brilliant light.
"I will not fail!" Sasuke roared. Breaking free from the wooden restraints, his chakra surged anew. The demonic armor returned, along with the reappearance of the Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror.
With a single swing of the Sword of Totsuka, Naruto and Minato were forced to retreat under the onslaught of its divine power.
At that moment, Obito also broke free from his close-quarters clash with Kakashi and Might Guy, landing beside Sasuke.
"The Ten Tails has already revived. Looks like this war belongs to us now," Obito said coldly, pointing toward the Konoha forces.
"You remnants of the old world—let us, your saviors, send you on your way."
Sasuke spread his arms, an unhinged smile on his face.
"Everyone... allow me to show you the true terror of the Ten Tails."
Obito's words were in line with Hyuga Gakuya's plan—to continue building up their image. But Sasuke... he truly believed that victory was within reach.
All he needed was the right moment to absorb the fully evolved Ten Tails and reshape the world—to resurrect his loved ones.
As if to validate their declarations, the crimson pillar of chakra dissipated, revealing the Ten Tails in its true form before everyone's eyes.
A colossal beast with ten writhing tails towered before them, its body vast as a mountain. Compared to it, the shinobi below seemed no more significant than ants.
In its initial form, the Ten Tails had only two forelimbs, and its entire body bore a wooden, ashen hue.
Spiraling dorsal fins rose from its back like wooden drill bits.
But the most chilling sight of all was its lone eye—an ominous red Rinnegan with nine tomoe spinning within—and the massive, fang-lined maw beneath it.
Behind it hung a blood-red full moon, its eerie glow reflecting off that singular Rinnegan, creating a picture both terrifying and strangely harmonious.
Sasuke withdrew Susanoo and leapt onto the Ten Tails' back alongside Obito. From the beast's body, wooden conduits extended and pierced into them, forming a direct link.
"The Ten Tails still needs time to complete its evolution. Let's deal with them while we wait," Obito suggested.
Sasuke nodded coldly. "These insects have become a nuisance. Let's get rid of them."
Everyone stared up at the beast in awe and dread, but not a single pair of eyes showed hesitation.
Naruto clenched his fists, golden light burning even brighter.
"I don't care what kind of monster you are—we won't let you win!"
Minato's expression turned grim as his hands blurred through hand seals.
"Get ready to strike again!"
Hashirama took a deep breath as vast chakra surged through him.
"All together now—give it everything we've got!"
Tsunade, pushing through her injuries, shouted with resolve, "Konoha's warriors will never back down!"
Kakashi and Guy adjusted their stances, readying themselves for the oncoming storm.
The Ten Tails seemed to sense their defiance. It opened its gaping maw and released a deafening roar that shook the entire battlefield—a cry that seemed to split the sky itself.
"Let's make this destruction complete," Sasuke said with a dark grin.
Obito crossed his arms. "No one can stop us now."
Standing atop the Ten Tails, the two of them gazed down at Konoha's elite and the supporting shinobi behind them like gods overlooking insects.
Naruto's eyes burned with fury. "Sasuke! Obito! Your evil ends here!" he shouted, before once again transforming into the Nine Tails and launching himself toward them.
Minato followed closely behind. His kunai glinted coldly as he activated Flying Thunder God, reappearing at the Ten Tails' flank. The golden Nine Tails head around him condensed into a Tailed Beast Bomb, ready to launch.
Hashirama formed seals and poured out his remaining chakra, summoning several wooden dragons from the earth. They coiled around the Ten Tails, trying to restrain its movements.
But standing on the beast's back, Sasuke merely sneered. "Your resistance is futile."
At his and Obito's command, the Ten Tails flexed ever so slightly—and the wooden dragons shattered instantly.
"This body can't gather Senjutsu chakra. If it could, the Gate of the Great God might've restrained it," Hashirama muttered in frustration. "Tobirama, do you have any ideas?"
Tobirama frowned deeply. "Stop throwing every problem at me—I'm thinking!"
Meanwhile, the Tailed Beast Bomb Minato had formed was casually flicked back by the Ten Tails—like it was swatting away a fly. Minato had no choice but to teleport away using Flying Thunder God.
Then, as Naruto charged forward, the Ten Tails opened its maw. Light gathered within, and a powerful beam of energy shot directly at him.
"Naruto, dodge it—now!" Minato yelled, eyes wide with panic.
Everyone scattered, and the beam cut through the battlefield. Everything in its path turned to ash.
Many ordinary shinobi of the Allied Forces didn't make it in time. They were vaporized in an instant, leaving no trace behind.
Naruto narrowly avoided the blast. But when he saw the bodies of those who didn't, his heart filled with rage.
"Sasuke! Obito! What the hell have you done?!"
