Dozens of clones rushed forward, trying to pin Minato down—but he cut through them with ease, each one dispelled by a single swipe of his kunai.
Then Minato formed a Rasengan and hurled it toward Naruto.
"Damn it—I won't let them get away with this!" Naruto yelled, forming a Rasengan of his own. The two spheres of chakra collided with a thunderous blast, the shockwave freezing the very air around them.
The resulting explosion hurled both father and son backward.

At that moment, a ninja tossed a sealing tag toward Naruto with all their might.
Controlled by the enemy, Minato launched a kunai in response, aiming to intercept the tag with Flying Thunder God.
"Naruto! That's a tag to sever the Edo Tensei! If you can place it on the Fourth Hokage, it'll break the control!"

"Bushy Brows-sensei! Choza-san! Inoichi-san! Leave this to us!" Naruto shouted toward the nearby Konoha shinobi.
Recognizing who was charging in, the Konoha ninja quickly stepped aside, clearing the battlefield to avoid friendly fire.
Their chosen opponent—Hiruzen Sarutobi—wasn't random. There was a touch of personal history behind it.
Father and son darted toward Hiruzen, their movements swift as lightning.
Minato hurled multiple kunai, instantly teleporting behind Hiruzen with the Flying Thunder God. He struck with deadly precision.
Hiruzen reacted just in time. Enma, transformed into a staff, blocked the attack behind him.
Naruto took the opportunity to unleash his Wind Style: Rasenshuriken. The swirling mass of wind chakra tore toward Hiruzen.

"Dad! Move!" Naruto yelled.
Drawing on Kurama's power, Naruto formed a Tailed Beast Bomb and launched it at Hiruzen.
Faced with the overwhelming energy, Hiruzen was forced to defend.
In that brief moment, Minato vanished using Flying Thunder God, evading the blast.
The explosion consumed the battlefield—Hiruzen's reanimated body was utterly destroyed in a single hit.
Before the remains could regenerate, Minato darted in, forming hand seals.
