Kalindra slowly stepped forward after the agreement had been made.
"I shall take my leave now," she said calmly. "I only came here to inform you of the location of the temple and to see whether the army was ready."
Belial looked at her with his usual calm authority. "You don't have to worry about anything. My word here is the law. Everyone knows that."
Kalindra nodded slightly. "Then goodbye, Lord Belial. May all your wishes come true."
Belial did not reply. He simply gave a small nod.
Kalindra raised her hand and flicked her finger lightly. Immediately the space in front of her twisted, and a circular portal swirling with dark violet energy appeared.
She turned toward the six companions who had arrived with her. "Everyone, it is time to leave."
Without another word, she stepped inside the portal. One by one, her companions followed quietly behind her, the spearman Arif entering last. Then the portal slowly closed and vanished as if it had never existed.
