One by one, they wrapped their legs with eidra, the glowing strands tightening around their limbs as they tried their best to keep up with her stride.
Some struggled at first, nearly tripping, but quickly adjusted as they pushed themselves to match her speed.
The group continued on with haste, each step bringing them closer, until at last they arrived at the wide stone staircase that rose toward the enormous door—the entrance to the dark tower looming before them.
"Now that's one huge tower alright…" Verhedyn muttered, his voice low and filled with awe.
His eyes slowly scanned upward, following the sharp, jagged design of the structure as it stretched into the clouds above, seeming to pierce right through the sky itself.
