Chapter 303 - The Cry of the Stars

The room was filled with tension, but not fear.

Outside the palace walls, the world was crumbling under the shadow of death. Inside, life was pushing its way into existence.

Sophia's screams echoed through the halls, sharp, raw, and desperate. Doctors surrounded her, guiding her with urgency and care.

"Push! One more! Don't give up! They're almost here!"

Her face was soaked in sweat, her lips trembling, her strength stretched to its edge. But something stronger than pain kept her going.

The door opened.

Maa entered quietly. Her eyes already brimming with tears, she walked straight to Sophia, knelt beside the bed, and held her hands tightly.

"You're not alone... he's with you, right here," she whispered, placing her forehead gently against Sophia's.

Sophia met her gaze with wet, exhausted eyes—and nodded, even if barely.

The doctor's voice rose again.

"We see a head... one is coming!"

The room fell into a held breath.

And then, it happened.

Covered in birthwater, the first child emerged, tiny and glistening. A nurse caught the baby and passed it swiftly to another, beginning the care process.

"Second one is coming!"

Another push. Another cry.

Moments later—

"Third one!"

Three cries. Rising like a chorus.

The entire room trembled. Life had arrived. Not once. Not twice.

Three times.

Maa stood still, tears running freely down her cheeks, whispering softly:

"Your children entered this world... but you weren't here to see it."

Yet deep inside her, she felt it. He was there. Somewhere, somehow.

Outside the room, silence ruled. The entire family stood waiting.

Jabir. Amir. Rayyan. Malik. Baba. Sara. The cousins. The staff. Everyone.

Then, the door opened.

Three nurses stepped out, carrying miracles.

One girl. Two boys.

Time stopped.

The first nurse gently placed one of the boys in Baba's arms. Another gave the girl to Maa, and the third handed the last boy to Papa.

They looked down.

These weren't just babies.

They were stardust in human form.

Tiny, peaceful, warm.

Everyone leaned in, hearts pounding.

And then, one by one...

they opened their eyes.

A soft gasp rippled through the hall.

Their eyes were not like others.

Not brown. Not black. Not hazel.

A glowing, soft blue. A color that didn't exist in nature—only in dreams.

As if a piece of the sky had been placed in their gaze.

And together—

they cried.

Not in fear. Not in confusion.

Together. In unison.

Like a signal. Like the sound of a new beginning.

Jabir whispered to Amir:

"Three. Just like he said. Nothing ever changes."

Amir nodded, his eyes wet.

The doctors returned, gently asking to take the babies for the first care.

Everyone nodded. Silently. With hearts full.

They handed them back, trusting them to safety.

In that moment, joy had returned.

True, pure joy.

A new chapter had begun.

Not in the name of power. Not in the name of war.

But in the name of legacy.

And the stars... they were watching.
