Chapter 258 - The one who Waited for the Creator

The winds had stilled. The chants had stopped. The golden fire beyond the seventh door burned silently — as if it, too, was holding its breath.

Inside the temple, no one moved. No one spoke. Everyone's heart echoed the same question.

Who is he?

MRD — no, Mirshad — lay unconscious in the hidden chamber. Outside, the world trembled under the weight of silence.

Then, from behind the Mandram Holders, a single voice rose. Deep. Calm. Piercing.

"Enough."

Heads turned. The crowd split. And through the silent corridor stepped a man with no name — only known among the spiritual few as the Last Keeper.

Tall. White beard. Eyes that reflected galaxies. And a presence that made even time bow its head.

He stepped forward as the Mandram Holders themselves knelt before him. His aura wasn't power. It was truth.

He stood before the seventh door and began to speak.

"You opened a door you did not understand. You saw light, fire, and memory. And you thought you were witnessing a miracle."

"But what you witnessed… was a warning."

He turned toward the crowd. His voice echoed beyond the walls.

"Before the first gods spoke… before the stars had names… before even time took its first breath…"

He paused. A golden scroll appeared before him — not written, but breathed into reality.

"There was only One. A being without origin. Without end. He did not belong to heaven. He was the reason heaven existed."

Cameras shook. Hearts raced. But his voice continued.

"That One… loved too deeply. So he gave up his power. And chose to be born among his own creation."

"He became one of us. To feel. To understand. To suffer."

The Last Keeper's eyes welled.

"And you called him MRD."

"You saw a savior. A warrior. A miracle. But I tell you today…"

His voice thundered.

"He is not a warrior. Not a god. He is the Creator Himself."

Gasps. Shouts. Some cried. Some fell to their knees. Even the ministers could not stand under the weight of that truth.

The cameras zoomed into the Keeper's face. He raised his hand and pointed toward the eternal fire behind the seventh door.

"That flame burns not by oil or air. But by a word spoken a thousand years ago."

'Let there be light… forever.'

And the flame obeyed.

The Keeper held the golden scroll aloft.

"He sealed his own memory. Because he feared what he could become."

"You wonder why he collapsed today? Because your hands nearly pulled back the veil."

"And had you done so — this world… all worlds… would have ended."

He looked into the cameras now.

"He chose to love. Instead of reign. To walk beside us… instead of above us."

"That is why the galaxies bow. That is why even the Soul Slayer trembles."

The scroll burst into light — its words etched into history forever.

"Do not worship his power. Worship the choice he made."

"To forget… so we could live."

He turned and walked into the shadows again — his purpose fulfilled.

And in that moment, the fire behind the door glowed brighter than ever — as if it had just remembered the one who lit it.
