The silence still lingered after MRD's final address. The people stood frozen in awe, their eyes locked on the one man who had changed the course of humanity in a single night. MRD returned to his seat, calm, composed, and watchful.
The anchor, who had remained speechless for long, slowly stepped back toward the microphone. His hands trembled, not from fear, but from the overwhelming wave of emotions crashing through his heart. For a moment, he could not find his voice. He looked at MRD and then at the millions before him. Then, gathering strength, he cleared his throat and spoke.
"So... world... our hero... our king... has made his promise true. The man who said he would change the world when the morning sun rises... did exactly that. And now, as the sun rises again behind us... we all know... this world is no longer the same. It will never be the same."
He paused, his voice cracking with emotion.
"You have been here since morning... and now another morning has come. We stood through the night together. We witnessed history. And now, we begin again... as a new humanity. With new hope."
He turned toward MRD.
"Thank you, MRD. Thank you for showing us what true leadership looks like. You asked for nothing. You gave everything. You only asked us to trust, to love, to be loyal, and to stay human. And we will. Your people will do that. So now... it's time to end this legendary day... and begin a new chapter for mankind."
Then he looked to the crowd and added, "For the final speech... I invite one of our nation's leaders to share a few words."
One of the respected leaders stepped forward. The man, who had once ruled with doubt and division, now stood humble, eyes glistening, heart full.
"Good morning, everyone," he began, breathing deeply. "We started this event in the morning. And we end it in another morning. But not the same way. Today... we are not leaders and people. We are a family. MRD has opened a door for us... a door that leads to a future we only dreamed of."
He looked over the vast crowd and spoke with pride.
"This day... will be written in history. No one will forget it. I am grateful to all of you who stood here. And to every corner of the world watching. Your time today was not wasted. Today was golden. Because now you all walk toward a future that is secure. A future filled with dignity."
He ended with a soft nod and stepped back. The anchor took the mic once more, this time with steadiness.
"MRD... Sir... will you give us your final word?"
MRD looked at the screen and then to the crowd. He stood slowly, powerful yet gentle. Before walking to the mic, he glanced at the anchor.
"Don't call me sir," he said with a smile. "You can call me brother."
The anchor smiled back and nodded.
"Yes, brother. As you wish."
MRD turned to the sea of people before him. The silence was so deep, even the wind held its breath.
"So... my brothers... my sisters... my parents... we have spent a long night together. Now, it is time to say goodbye. But just for now."
He scanned the crowd, his voice warm but strong.
"Starting today, you will meet my team. One by one, everything I promised will reach your hands. Within one month, each of you will be a new person, with a new dream to chase. I say one month, because you are not just hundreds... you are millions. But everything is ready. Our team has already begun."
He paused, then added with clarity,
"Thank you, all of you. And never forget our deal. Be human. Be kind. Love one another. Stay loyal. Together... we will."
He smiled gently.
"I won't extend my speech. It is time. Time to begin your lives. Time for me to return. But remember... I am always here. Watching. Listening. Believing in you."
He stepped back to his seat. As he sat, he turned to Rayyan beside him.
"Rayyan... arrange someone to guide my parents and family. They will come with us. One day... only for us."
Rayyan nodded. "Yes, brother."
MRD noticed Amir and Jabir staring at him.
"What happened?" he asked.
Amir whispered, annoyed, "Bro, it's been twenty-four hours. We've been wearing these damn masks. I want to scratch my face, but how? If we take them off now, people will see us. We're trapped."
MRD laughed.
"That's good, baba. Didn't I tell you this mask is not good? But no, you told me... 'this is my special creation... very good quality.' Right, baba?"
They all laughed. Amir groaned.
"Okay, okay, my fault. Can we at least get off this stage and breathe?"
MRD stood and turned to the leaders.
"Thank you, everyone. I truly appreciate your time and dedication. That will stay in my heart... always. So... can we go now?"
The leaders did not speak. They simply nodded, overcome with emotion. For the first time in history, they had found a ruler who saw no separation. Only unity. Only family.
One by one, they bowed their heads in agreement.
"All up to you, MRD. We will do whatever you say."
MRD nodded with deep respect.
"That means a lot. Then... let's go. All of you must be tired. Go and rest."
He turned to look at Sophia and his family in the front row. Their eyes met. He gave a simple nod. It was time.
Rayyan's man was already waiting to guide them to the helicopter site. Everything was ready.
And then it happened.
As MRD, his brothers, and the leaders stood together... the crowd erupted.
They did not scream. They saluted.
In perfect harmony, with love in their voice, they spoke as one.
"WE LOVE ALL OF YOU. THANK YOU FOR THE NEW WORLD."
MRD and his brothers, the leaders, the team — all raised their hands in the air. A final wave. A promise.
And then they stepped off the stage.
The helicopters stood waiting, black and sleek like the night sky.
One by one, they entered. MRD and his brothers in one. His family in another. Sophia with his parents in the third.
As the blades turned and the sky began to open, people down below looked upward, their eyes shining with pride.
They watched as the helicopters rose into the morning sky. No one moved. No one blinked.
Because they knew…
Those black helicopters… belonged to MRD.
And in them… flew the man who changed the world.
