Noah's POV
My breathing feels unsteady. I think I'm losing my rationality slowly.
I grabbed my head, trying to think straight but the man lying in front of me, Michael, was making things hard for me.
Ever since earlier, that scent he had been giving off was completely unlike his usual scent. It's a stronger and more destructive scent and if I stay any longer, I fear I won't be able to hold back.
Ever since a while back, when Micheal had a fever, I noticed he had the scent of a female while he was burning and fighting for his life. That was when I began to notice that my rut was near.
I don't know how that was possible since he's a human and he's a man, at that. Though females aren't specified with gender, I just never imagined the one who picked me up to be a female as well.
