Overview
I give a big thanks for everyone who had been following my story so far. I admit I realized myself after re-reading some chapters that I did not start strong, but well, it is what it is. Here a quick overview of the characters so far: Dean (a "normal" person), Larah (was rejected once by Dean), Sark (bartender with guns), Hope (child saved from a mother turning to a ghoul by Dean), Jessie (police woman who lost John fighting against dark priest), John (police man killed by Nighyel), Nighyel (dark priest), Dae (Dean's twin, soldier, known as the Wargod), Rayshel (soldier, aka the Berserker), Sarah (President of England and yes in this story England has a President), Nade (crazy scientist who happens to be possessed by a demon, he's immune), Emilia (a soldier, accompanying Sarah), Rick ( a soldier, accompanying Sarah), Katlin (young girl Jessie met in a car park), Seraphina (a light priest?), Abaddon (a dark priest?)
Story
The light shone so strong that it woke up everyone and of course Hope had to cry. While Larah was occupied with calming the baby the other exited the cars, slowly and with no guns or whatever attached to them. It was the smartest decision faced with the military. There was a great numbers of soldiers and they were all well-equipped. Engaging in a battle now would be simply foolish. The light dimmed and one soldier carefully approached the group, ordering: 'Hands up!' Dean and the others obeyed. The soldiers peered past them into the car and pointed his gun at Larah who had managed to lull Hope into the sleep. 'You there! Leave the car and don't try anything funny!' Normally Larah would start shuddering, however, after having faced ghouls it would need more to scare her. With Hope in her arms she too left the car and joined Dean at the front. 'Hand up I said!' Larah pointed at Hope. 'Can't really put my arms up while carrying her!' 'Lady, don't try me!', the soldier warned, drawing closer to Larah, the gun still up. That triggered Deana and before anyone knew Dean had seized the gun and brought the soldier with a juicy punch to the ground. Sark grinned and Jessie remained calm, her face betraying no emotions. When the other soldiers were about to act a strong voice cut in: 'Stop!' A man in his late fifties, no beard, white hairs and wrinkled skin left a car and strolled over to the group. The soldier who had been punched in the face immediately stood up and saluted. 'Krus, this woman was' – 'For you it's Sir Krus!' he slapped the soldier. 'How can you ask a mother carrying a child to raise her arms? Are you dumb? Damn, people these days are getting worse!' He glanced over to Dean, yet never looked at the gun he had stolen itself. Then his eyes wandered to Sark, then Jessie and lastly Larah. He nodded with a faint grin. 'I can feel and definitely see it, you are fighters! And we are in need of fighters like you. Young man, please excuse this young soldier. We are all on edge since, well, look at the moon, the ghouls and all that! (Dean: He said ghouls! So the military know some things!) I would appreciate it if you could return the gun to him, young man!' Krus was asking with a nice voice and even the face was pleasant to look at but Dean immediately took notice of his brown eyes. They were radiating so much power and authority. His please seemed more like an order. Well, the soldier was still placed under Krus and he had to display his power. 'of course!', Dean replied and threw the gun over to the soldier who nearly failed to catch the gun. The intense stare of Krus subsided. 'Now that this is taken care of. Please, accompany me to Behills Hospital!'
Somewhere hidden
People in white robes were sitting at a table. It was dark. So, it was not sure how many people there were in total in the room but it was a small number for sure. One of the started the discussion: 'Seems like the dark priest has finally made their move. At first, I thought that they were the one killing our people to prepare for this day, however, that was not the case. And it can't be the Hunters because they vanished long time ago. And as far as I know they are busy with guarding the gate!' Another person joined: 'Surprisingly some dark priests were also killed. And not in the open but in their hideouts, just like it was the case with us. This means, at least that's what I dread a dark priest and a light pries must be working together! This means there is a traitor in our mist. We have to find that traitor!' The first one who had spoken stood up and continued to lead the discussion: 'Indeed, we will find the traitor. But for the time being we must prepare everything for their arrival! He strode to the corner of the room where there was a and in that cage there were two ghouls, fighting. One ghouls was black like the ghouls Dae and Dean had faced and the other ghouls who was winning the fight was white. The stature, the body everything was the same only that the ghouls was white. That ghoul bit the black one and brought it down. The black ghoul was ko, but only for a moment. It started wiggling around and then it happened – the ghoul started turning white and with it triggered an applause of all the light priest in the room. The light priest who had displayed that sight rose his arm, bellowing: 'At the end of the day we will come out as the winner. Fuck the light dark priest and their demons. We will vanquish them and prepare for the arrival of the angels. Well, now we need immune ones!'
