Elliot frowned. Feeling himself slow down wasn't the only thing that happened. His energy was flowing more slowly. His movements weren't actually slower; it was just that his energy was flowing more slowly, and since he was using energy to move faster, his movements would naturally slow down.
But why?
He looked at Jenna and Andrew... they all seemed to be having trouble with this. In fact, Andrew took another hit in quick succession, even though Sir Ruin had wasted his first chance to do so.
At the same time, Jenna was hit in the nose by Ruin's fist.
