Ji-hoon! Fight!
Su-yeon's voice broke through the darkness.
Ji-hoon latched onto her sound. A lifeline against the tide.
He reached for her—barely touched her hand—
And a blue light blazed from Su-yeon's core.
Purity. Hope. Resistance.
Her energy flowed into him, colliding with the Shadow King's influence inside.
Ji-hoon screamed. The war within him intensified.
Black against silver. Void against humanity.
Ji-hoon focused inward. Not just on the light. On the balance.
Silver flared from his left eye, driving into the blackness.
"I'm not yours!" Ji-hoon roared.
An explosion of force tore through the room.
The black veins receded. The black tears stopped.
Sera staggered back, gasping. Su-yeon's true face returned.
"Ji-hoon... you did it..." she whispered.
Ji-hoon fell to his knees, panting. His body burned from the clash.
But it wasn't over.
In the shattered mirrors around them—
Hands from the darkness clawed outward.
The Shadow King had marked him. Had touched reality.
"This is just the beginning," Ji-hoon said.
And from the mirrors, a whisper answered:
"We will meet again, bridge."
