Chapter 167 - CHAPTER 162 – A QUIET DATE WITH NANA

After arriving and asking about all the details of the date Lala and Akira had the day before, all the girls headed straight to Mikan's house, where they would spend the entire day, leaving space for Nana and Akira, who decided to have their date at home.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to the zoo? It could be fun?" I said as I sat next to Nana.

The TV was on, and Nana was lying on the sofa, watching it while resting her bare feet on the cushions.

"I… I'd rather stay home and have a more relaxed date. There will be time to visit the zoo later," Nana replied.

Almost immediately, Nana reconsidered and sat up, shyly moving closer to her lover.

"Does it bother you that I want to spend our date at home?" Nana asked, lowering her head.

Seeing her like that, Akira smiled and picked her up, placing her on his lap.

"W-What are you doing?" Nana asked, blushing.

It wasn't that she disliked it—she had simply been caught off guard by how sudden it was.

"Of course I don't mind. Every girl has her own preferences, and I'm not the type to force my ideas on others. So if you want to spend our date at home… then I'm completely fine with it. And what am I doing? I just want to be close to my girl. Is that wrong?" I explained.

"I-Idiot…" Nana said, lowering her head.

That was her way of saying it was fine—that she liked it. Like a true tsundere, Nana had difficulty expressing her real feelings, but that didn't mean she didn't enjoy being pampered or treated that way. It was simply too hard for her to admit it.

The day continued, and Akira and Nana began their date. Today's date couldn't have been simpler—a quiet day at home, watching movies and enjoying each other's company. But after that… came the most interesting part of the date. You all know what I mean.

They spent the morning flirting with each other until it was time to eat.

"What do you feel like eating? I can make anything you want, even your favorite dish if you want," Akira said.

The romantic atmosphere between them faded slightly—not because either of them broke it on purpose, but due to a force of nature: Nana's stomach growled loudly. Embarrassed, she buried her face in one of the sofa cushions, refusing to look at Akira.

"N-No need… today is a special day, we can just order something," Nana said, still embarrassed.

Even though her voice was barely audible, Akira heard her clearly.

"Alright. What do you feel like eating?" Akira nodded.

"I… pizza would be fine," Nana said.

Her voice was almost a whisper, but Akira still caught it.

"Okay. Any preference?" Akira asked.

"F-Four cheese," Nana replied.

"Got it," Akira nodded.

After that short conversation, Akira called a pizzeria and ordered two pizzas, which didn't take long to arrive. Now they were sitting across from each other, eating pizza while talking about everyday things.

"Do you know something, Nana?" I said suddenly.

The day was going well, but something important was still missing—deepening our relationship. While Nana and I had always gotten along well, we had never been alone together. We had never had a proper date, never shared a moment just for the two of us, never truly taken the time to understand each other and express our feelings. Our relationship had started abruptly, and even though there was no going back—and even knowing Nana truly liked me—it didn't feel right to continue like that. I wanted to deepen our bond, to truly understand each other. Only then would our connection grow stronger and allow us to move past how it all began.

"What is it?" Nana asked while enjoying a slice of her favorite pizza.

"Until recently, I hadn't realized something important," I said.

"Mmm… what?" Nana asked again.

"That our relationship started very abruptly. We never had a date, never took the time to understand each other. It began simply because we had sex in a moment when we were both excited… and that's not the right way to start a relationship," I said.

Nana raised an eyebrow.

"…That's true, but that's already in the past, and now… I truly like you," Nana said, blushing.

While she hadn't liked it at first, as she spent more time with Akira, she gradually fell more and more in love with him—until she came to love him deeply. So even though their relationship had begun in such an unusual way… Nana didn't regret it. It had brought her closer to Akira, forcing her to get to know him better—and as a result, to fall in love with him.

Now she was living a very happy life. She had friends, could do what she loved, spend time with her new family, and above all, spend time with the man she loved—Akira. Her life couldn't be better. Ever since she arrived on Earth, everything had been joy and freedom, unlike her life in the palace, where her freedom had been limited and she had to sneak out just to explore other places. Upon arriving on Earth, all of that disappeared, replaced by a freedom she never wanted to give up.

"I like you too, Nana… much more than you think," I nodded.

At first, I saw her as just another girl—someone to add to my harem, maybe even like a rare collectible I needed to have. But as time passed, I realized this wasn't a manga—this was real life. The people in front of me weren't fictional characters, but real individuals with feelings. Once I understood that, something in me changed. I stopped seeing the girls as collectibles and began to truly love them. That's why I want to know them better. I want our relationship to grow.

"Th-Thank you…" Nana said, blushing.

Even though she looked embarrassed, she was actually happy. Even if she already knew Akira loved her, hearing it directly from him always made her feel good. After all, what woman wouldn't be happy hearing her partner say that? It was a universal feeling.

"That's why I want to take our relationship to a new level," I said.

"A new level? What do you mean?" Nana asked, confused.

What did he mean by that? They had already taken the final step—they had sex regularly. Was there something beyond that? Her father had already approved their engagement, and they would eventually become husband and wife. Was there really anything beyond that?

"I want to know Nana—the real Nana. I want to know everything about her: her likes, her worries, everything. And in return, I'll tell Nana everything about me. I don't want there to be any barriers between us. That's what taking our relationship to a new level means to me."

Nana was surprised to hear those words, but she didn't dislike them. On the contrary, she felt the urge to speak—to open up completely.

"I see… where should I start?" Nana wondered.

After a few seconds, she looked Akira in the eyes.

"To be honest, before coming to Earth, my freedom was very limited. Some people think being a princess is a blessing—that living surrounded by luxury and having everything you want is something to be grateful for… and they're right. But as a princess, my freedom was very limited. While it's true my sister had even less freedom, Momo and I didn't have much either. In fact, every time we traveled to other planets to collect plants and animals, we had to sneak out, because our father never allowed us to leave the planet," Nana explained.

Seeing that Akira was listening attentively, she continued.

"To be honest, I thought I would end up as nothing more than a tool—that my father would marry me off to some influential noble he had a good relationship with. That was the future I believed I had. Marrying someone I didn't love, losing all my freedom, being separated from my family… just thinking about spending my entire life locked up like a bird in a cage was horrible. But everything changed when I came to Earth," Nana said.

She sighed, then looked at Akira with a soft gaze.

"To be honest, when I found out my sister had a fiancé, I was furious… but when I saw how happy she was with you, I gave up. I had never seen her smile like that before. She was truly happy, and I couldn't destroy that happiness out of jealousy. You're right—maybe our relationship didn't start in the best way, but I don't regret it. Because thanks to that, I discovered what kind of person you really are… someone who brings happiness to every woman by his side, someone who would give his life for them, someone kind, honest and gentle… someone who gives us freedom."

She looked at him seriously.

"I love you. I love all of this, and I don't want to go back to my old life. I want to stay here forever. I have friends, a family… and above all, the man I love—the one I want to spend the rest of my life with."

Her words left me completely shaken—happy, confused… a flood of emotions filled my heart.

The love these girls felt for me was overwhelming…

…and I wanted to return it.

I wanted them to understand…

that I loved them too.
