*Note: Sorry for yesterday but I'm thinking to rest the Fridays. In fact, I started to writing again today after a week of not writing. Why? I was thinking about the new chapters and the plot so I didn't write until I've thinking about everything. Luckily I have almost the next plot so today I started to write again, although I didn't write the entire chapter.
Well, I think tomorrrow I'll finish the chapter, so there's no problem with that.
Have a good day :)
...
The moment has arrived to test the new aliens, specifically one that I always liked in the original series.
"Don't regret your arrogance later," I said.
Then I slammed the dial, and a green light illuminated the area, surprising everyone , but that surprise was nothing compared to what followed.
After the green light dissipated, there was another being in Akira's place.
The body of this being was covered in an organic armor of a dark blue, almost black tone, with luminous sky-blue lines running across its arms, legs, and torso, like veins of icy energy.
From its back emerged two enormous wings similar to those of a moth, translucent and adorned with bright cyan patterns that emitted a supernatural glow.
Its face was hidden behind a kind of natural mask, revealing only two intense green, glowing eyes that seemed to pierce the soul of anyone who looked at it, while the Omnitrix symbol shone a faint green color on its chest.
The spectators were completely stunned ; even Queen Rily was left astonished by the scene in front of her. Gid, who had already heard about his powers thanks to Zastin, simply stared at him with curiosity but no surprise , while Nemesis, for the first time in decades, was surprised.
What had just happened to Akira? What is that being?
"Who are you?!" asked Nefertús, with a tone of nervousness and fear mixed together.
The figure of Big Chill was quite terrifying in his eyes, and its dark, shadowy appearance did not help at all.
"Don't you recognize your rival now that he has changed form? It's still me, Akira, I've just changed my form," I said.
I tried to smile, but it seems that this form and smiles don't go particularly well together, so my face must have been stoic.
"That's impossible! I've researched humans, and they don't have that ability! You are not that human!" Nefertús denied.
He had obviously studied humans, afraid that they might possess some special ability that Akira could use against him to win, but… there were none. Apart from being a race whose technology advanced rapidly and being slightly more cunning than average… they had no other special ability that could cause him problems, which is why he did not believe my words.
"Didn't I tell you that the watch was my weapon? Well, I just showed you its effects," I said.
Thanks to the drones flying over the area, everyone could hear clearly, leaving them all stunned. A simple watch could help you change your appearance? Interesting.
"I get it now, it's a device capable of changing your appearance… so it's only good for scaring your opponent!" exclaimed Nefertús.
Many thought the same… except for those who already knew that wasn't true, and Nemesis, whose years of experience told her that this was no simple change of form to scare the opponent.
"Prove it then," I said.
"Fine, prepare yourself, human!" Nefertús agreed.
Then he lunged forward, using much of his speed to slash at Akira with his sword, but just as his sword was about to cut Akira, he vanished without a trace.
No one knew what had happened; the boy had suddenly disappeared.
Only the veterans managed to see through what had happened: Akira had not disappeared but had become invisible and intangible, making it impossible to determine his position.
Gid's expression turned serious; this ability was extremely useful and dangerous. For someone like him, hardened in a thousand battles, he might perhaps determine the rival's position thanks to his instincts, but even he could be caught by surprise if he wasn't fully concentrated.
Nemesis was also surprised. She had a similar ability, but not as good as that. He had literally disappeared without a trace ; in fact, if her own ability weren't similar, she couldn't determine his current location.
A terrifying ability!
"Where is he?!" Nefertús wondered in astonishment.
Just as his sword was about to cut Akira, he disappeared.
"Behind you, of course," said a voice from behind him.
Nefertús jumped and tried to slash behind him with his sword, without success.
"What's wrong? Why are you so nervous? It looks like you're about to get… frozen," I said.
Then a kind of crystalline dust shot out from my mouth, freezing Nefertús in a giant block of ice.
"It's no big deal, just a loudmouth," I said, reappearing before everyone.
The spectators who believed that the device only gave Akira a terrifying appearance were so surprised that they couldn't even articulate words. From one moment to the next, their prince had been frozen in a block of ice.
"My son!" exclaimed Queen Rily, worried.
Worried and surprised, as the boy's power had peaked her curiosity.
"SPECTATORS ARE ASKED TO CALM DOWN! SIGNS OF LIFE HAVE BEEN DETECTED INSIDE THE BLOCK OF ICE, SO CONTESTANT NEFERTÚS IS NOT DEAD!" said the AI.
Obviously, he's not dead; I controlled the ice not to make it too hard, just enough so he couldn't escape.
"This battle is boring. Why don't I give him another chance?" I said.
Then I touched the Omnitrix icon and transformed into Heatblast.
From one moment to the next, another figure covered in fire appeared in the coliseum arena, replacing the terrifying one.
"Ice be gone," I said.
Then, using my fire powers, I thawed Nefertús, who fell to the ground on his knees.
"Damn! What happened?!" said Nefertús.
He seemed to have passed out for a few seconds.
But the spectators were astonished once again. Invisibility, intangibility, ice, and now fire. How can a simple human have so many powers?!
"Do you want to continue fighting, or do you surrender?" I asked curiously.
Nefertús was surprised by Akira's appearance, but he still got up.
"I won't surrender! I love Princess Lala, and I will take her as my wife!" said Nefertús.
Nefertús lunged forward again, but this time at a slower speed.
I simply sighed and transformed into XLR8, dodging his blow with the utmost ease.
"You can't touch me," I said.
"Shut up! I will defeat you!" said Nefertús.
Nefertús began to attack Akira, but he dodged his attacks as if dealing with a child.
Super speed! Even Gid and Nemesis were surprised by XLR8's astonishing speed, a speed that even they found difficult to follow.
Of course, I don't plan to show all my aliens, but now that I have 24 at my disposal, showing 10 or so won't cause me any problem, as I'll still have 14 in reserve.
"Your efforts are useless," I said.
Then I used my speed and kicked him.
In the stands, the girls were delighted with Akira's strength; some were even excited by how cool Akira looked right now. Now all the people in both galaxies would know about their fiancé's amazing power! The pride they all felt now was insurmountable and immeasurable!
"Damn…" said Nefertús.
He was exhausted, panting from fatigue, while Akira simply returned to his human form and approached him.
"Surrender," I said as I kicked him.
Nefertús flew off, but there were no longer cries of pain from the queen, only a look full of infinite curiosity towards Akira.
The race to which Queen Rily belongs is one that respects the strong and despises the weak , so Akira's strength over her son's filled her with curiosity and even some desire.
Her husband? Their marriage was simply a mere formality, and he was a simple weakling who was even forbidden from attending today.
Her son? Her son was just a fly compared to Akira; he no longer deserved her respect. Up until now, her son had been strong, someone worthy of admiration and receiving her affection, but seeing him there so pathetic, being kicked by Akira like a common insect… made her begin to feel disgust towards him, and her interest turned towards Akira.
That's how cruel their race is: if you are strong, you earn the favor of women; if you are weak, the only thing you can aspire to in life is a dead-end job and prostitutes. One is a winner and the other a loser.
The situation would have been different if her son had turned out to be a woman; after all, only men experience that treatment, while women do not. In their culture, women are very capable, but it is also a very sexist culture in a way, and they believe that a woman must marry the strongest man.
Up until now, the queen had never been attracted to a man; she only showered her son with affection because, in her eyes, he was a very strong man, worthy of her love. But upon seeing someone as dominant as Akira kicking him and defeating him as if he were a mere insect… she was filled with disdain toward him, and her interest shifted to Akira.
Perhaps someone like Akira is the strong man she has been looking for—a man who will make her fall in love, who will fuck her hard, and who will give her strong offspring, not that pathetic excuse of a son who is being humiliated.
Rily decided right then: if her son lost, he would be stripped of his status and given the status of a simple noble, banishing him to any planet. Is it cruel? Yes, but that is their race, and it has been that way for millennia.
"I'm… not going to… surrender… I'll win…" said Nefertús, trying to get up.
"You're just talking nonsense. I don't know how your mother could love a loser like you," I said.
Then I transformed into Ditto and made 4 copies of myself. The reason? To play soccer with him as a ball until he passed out.
"How useless, he didn't even last 5 minutes before passing out," said the original Akira.
"True, what a piece of trash," said Akira 2.
"If this is the level of the Andromeda galaxy, it's no wonder Gid didn't even bother to conquer it," said Akira 3.
"That's right. Who would want a galaxy as pathetic as this?" Akira 4 nodded.
The nobles got angry at such an offense, but the queen did not. As a strong man, Akira had every right to mock the weak.
Akira was provoking sensations in her that she had never felt. But then, what about Gid?
Gid never showed his power directly; he only demonstrated that his military might was superior to theirs, leaving her defenseless against a frontal attack. Perhaps if he had shown his power, Rily would have thrown herself into his arms, but unfortunately for Gid, he didn't, so Rily didn't know about his power.
