Backstory
Arthur Damian Reeves was born on 10 August 1980 to Philip Reeves and Jean Rosier-Reeves, both pure-bloods who defied Voldemort and paid the ultimate price. On the night the Dark Lord came to their cottage, a burst of green light ended his parents' lives, but the Killing Curse meant for the infant Arthur rebounded, shredding Voldemort's body and leaving the child with only a lightning-bolt scar and a destiny no one yet understood.
Raised in secrecy by his godfather Remus Lupin to shield him from both war and werewolf moons, Arthur grew up quiet, bookish, and haunted by nightmares he could never quite explain. Books and magical creatures were his first friends; people were harder. Everything changed when he stepped onto the Hogwarts Express in 1991.
First Year: Arthur discovered the impossible: he was the Boy Who Lived. A weakened Voldemort, possessing Professor Quirrell, attempted to seize the Philosopher's Stone and finish what he started a decade earlier. Arthur stopped him — barely — and the ministry learned his name.
That summer, his enigmatic uncle Cassian Reeves took him in for brutal training in wandless magic. A clandestine visit to the Department of Mysteries uncovered two sealed prophecies that still burn behind Arthur's eyes:
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches… one must die at the hand of the other…"
"Arthur Damian Reeves was never meant to survive infancy, and every year he continues to breathe fractures the veil between worlds and invites something worse than Voldemort."
Second Year: Suspicion and terror followed him. Rumours named him the Heir of Slytherin after students began to petrify. His hair flashed white with fear too often, stirring whispers of curses. Arthur descended into the Chamber of Secrets, faced a memory of Tom Riddle, and killed the basilisk with little more than cunning, a sword, and venom burning through his veins. Emerging half-dead, something ancient and cold woke inside him — a force that refused to sleep.
Third Year: Britain had become too dangerous, and Cassian Reeves called in decades-old favors. Arthur transferred to Ilvermorny for his third year.
Sorted into Thunderbird house atop Mount Greylock, amidst a ceremony with shimmering, sentient badges. Navigated new traditions, including barefoot sunrise rituals. Formed a bond with Alpha, a wolf familiar, taming him through trials in a frozen forest.
Grappled with physical and magical changes: spreading silver streaks in his hair, signifying frost-infused transformation
Explored personal vulnerabilities, even attempting romantic connection, and uncovered the Reeves bloodline's dark secrets.
Confronted Project Silverfang, a forbidden experiment concerned with the creation and fusing of hybrid creatures to wizards.
He also experienced internal conflict caused by the personality split with Auren, chaotic and arrogant, seizing control during crucial moments.
Faced external threats during The Incursion, including hybrid beasts, a magical dome, and the awakening of a primordial entity from the lake, born of ice and shadow.
Harnessed Arcane Core, manifested as Argen Reeves, a new persona reflecting the pinnacle of his magical potential.
The arc concluded with false victory — wreckage and unresolved tension. Arthur reconciled, tenuously, with Auren and Argen, but the ending hinted at lingering threats still beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to stir.
Following Ilvermorny, the MACUSA deemed it safe and necessary for Arthur to return to Britain. He spent a short time with the Potter family in Godric's Hollow for recovery, recuperation, and re-acclimation. While Hogwarts technically remained in session, he would arrive late into his fourth year, carrying the weight of past battles, new powers, and the fragmented echoes of his fractured self.
