Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Eva, Stop That!

Eva whined again, dragging out the last word with a sugary pout that could probably melt lesser minds. Her wings fluttered petulantly behind her, and her tail gave an irritated flick that slapped lightly against my thigh.

Her voice—gods, her voice—was getting on my nerves each passing second.

"I said no," I snapped, glaring at her as I closed the status window with a mental command. "For the last time, Eva. I'm not telling you."

"Ehh!? You're being stingy!" she whined again. Her violet eyes glowed, her pink lips pushed out into the exaggerated pout. And all of a sudden, she looked absurdly young.

"You can't just shove five ghouls up your pussy like some depraved, unbirth shit and expect me to forget about it," she continued, jumping and begging like a toddler asking for candies.

"Well, that's exactly what happened, isn't it?" I replied with a smile of superiority. "So forget about it."

"Come on! That was hella awesome." Eva let out an amused chuckle. "Your pussy swallowed their whole bodies. How did you do it?... Tell me... tell me!... I want to have a pussy like yours."

Fuck... It was probably a bad idea to devour the ghoul corpses in front of a degenerate person like Eva, but I can't go and fight the Varul queen unprepared.

The five Cinder Wraiths that I ordered to cover our retreat self-exploded after being overrun by those mindless, infected humans.

One thing I'd noticed about my wraiths—something small, subtle—was that their blue flames weren't hot. They were cold.

So cold that they burned.

Not like fire. Not like ice. But something in between. A kind of soul-searing cold that ate through flesh and bone in silence, leaving behind scorched ash and a lingering emptiness in the air.

However, when the wraiths detonated themselves, the explosion was normal... powerful, yes, but normal hot flames and black smoke. Having both flames could be helpful in the future.

So that's why I replenished my Soul slots, preparing for the fight ahead. But try explaining that to someone like Eva.

"Seriously, Aza!" she whined again, this time flopping dramatically onto the squishy floor of the hive like a defeated drama queen. "Your vagina absorbed five full bodies like they were marshmallows. That's not fair. Why does your coochie get all the cool powers?"

"It's called 'being built differently,'" I said flatly, turning away before she started miming the event with hand gestures. She would, too. The little deviant had no filter.

"I swear I saw their legs kicking," Eva muttered, half to herself. "Like they wanted to be unbirthed…"

"They were corpses," I sighed. Loudly. "And it wasn't sexual."

"Could've fooled me." Her tail flicked again. "The moaning kinda gave it away."

"I wasn't moaning!"

"You always moan when you're hungry. It's cute."

"Grrr... Eva!" I glared over my shoulder. "One more word, and I'm feeding you to my womb next."

"Really?" Eva beamed. "Promise?"

This stupid little succubus—Nope, the stupid big horny succubus girl with an ass of sin and eyes like twin amethyst was the kind of perverted fool who would take even death as a kink.

'I will have to put this idiot under my protection. Her stupid ass will get eaten by every single horny cock in hell,' I thought to myself, but then I realized, who would protect my sorry ass? No, wait, not sorry... I mean, it was an innocent and honest butt... almost...

'Should I be proud?' I questioned my inner voice, but I never received an answer.

"Stop wasting time and let's go."

With the brutal flail that I got from the knight in hand, ten Cinder Wraiths, a big black shadow panther, and of course the horny purple-haired succubus, my group was now ready to leave this safe chamber and march deeper into this forsaken fleshy nest.

I wanted to give Eva my Lustful Lash since I'm not very good with whips and she is a succubus by birth... I guess... but it was soul-bound to me, and I didn't want to give the flail, so she needs to make do with... nothing.

And a few moments later, we reached the same breeding hall that we previously escaped from, and I could clearly see the result of my wraiths' work.

The place was ruined—charred flesh clung to the ribbed walls, the once-pulsing pinks and reds now scorched black, slick with soot and melted gore. Limbs—still twitching—lay scattered across the floor. The scent of burnt corruption choked the air.

"Impressive," Eva murmured, her eyes wide as she surveyed the devastation. "Your little blue boys really know how to make a mess. A beautiful mess."

The Cinder Wraiths hadn't just fought. They had slaughtered.

But it wasn't enough.

A distant shriek cut through the air—wet, guttural, and furious.

Then came the sounds—hundreds of clawed feet slapping against the floor. Screeches, moans, and the horrible slurping noises of half-melted throats gasping for breath. A horde. Another one. Bigger.

"Incoming!" I barked, tightening my grip on the flail. The familiar weight of the weapon in my hand was oddly comforting. "Get ready, Umbra. Eva, stay close."

Umbra let out a low growl, his shadowy form rippling with anticipation. His eyes, twin pinpricks of crimson light, fixed on the approaching horde. Eva, meanwhile, just grinned, a manic glint in her eyes.

"Finally! Some real fun!... I was getting soooo bored!" she shrieked, her tail lashing like a whip. She lunged forward, a blur of purple and black, meeting the first wave of infected head-on. Without a weapon, she relied on her demonic strength and agility, her clawed hands tearing through flesh, her kicks sending infected bodies flying. She moved like a dancer, a whirlwind of destruction, her laughter echoing through the hall as she reveled in the carnage.

"Cinder Wraiths, engage!" I didn't hesitate.

The ten blue-flamed skeletons formed a vanguard around Umbra and I, taking point as a unit. They moved with silent precision, phasing through the charging infected, leaving trails of frozen, burning agony in their wake. Their touch wasn't a searing heat, but a profound, internal chill that stole breath and life.

I swung my flail, the brutal head whistling through the air. It connected with the skull of an infected, crushing it with a sickening thud. The knight's weapon was heavy, but each strike was devastating. I focused on the larger, more aggressive infected humans, using the flail to create openings for my wraiths.

I decided—at least for now—not to use my Hell Chains. The reason was simple: I needed to train this new succubus body of mine, and relying solely on my Hell Chains could be fatal in the future. It was a strategy, just survival.

Suddenly, the entire fleshy hall shuddered.

The ground beneath our feet pulsed once—like a heartbeat.

Then more of the infected surged forward.

They didn't charge in lines or with any semblance of formation. No—this wasn't a military assault. It was a flood. A wave of shrieking, slathering, half-melted bodies rushed forward like meat trying to reclaim a womb it was never born from.

Hundreds.

The infected humans were faster this time—mutated limbs propelling them at impossible speeds, their bodies rippling with strange new muscle and bone growths. Some crawled on all fours, tongues dragging, others sprinted upright, their faces warped with pleasure and pain.

"Back-to-back!" I shouted, spinning the flail above my head. The spiked metal blurred as I brought it crashing down into an infected that got too close.

Another infected grabbed her from behind.

Wrong move.

Eva's hips snapped back in a vicious arc, shattering its pelvis with a sound like wet wood breaking. Her tail coiled around its neck, snapping it with a twist, before she flung the limp body across the hall like trash.

"Umbra, left flank!" I barked.

"ROAR!" My panther obeyed instantly, lunging into a cluster of infected with lethal grace. His claws tore through them like paper, shadowy mist trailing behind him like smoke.

I, meanwhile, was in the thick of it, the flail a heavy extension of my will. Each swing was a calculated blow, aimed at the weakest points, designed to maximize damage and create space. The weight of the flail, the impact reverberating through my arms, the spray of black blood and ichor—it was a brutal, visceral dance.

And I loved it.

One particularly large infected, its body bloated and grotesque, lunged at me. I brought the flail up, blocking its clumsy attack, then spun, bringing the spiked head around in a wide arc. It connected with the infected's chest, ripping through flesh and bone. As it staggered back, I reached and seized its jaw and literally ripped its face off with one forceful pull.

"Oh, Aza, you're so strong when you're angry!" Eva purred, appearing beside me, her hands dripping with blood. She had a manic gleam in her eyes, her lips pulled back in a feral snarl. "Makes me want to just… devour you myself!"

"Focus, Eva!" I snapped, shoving another infected away with my foot. "Less flirting, more killing!"

"HAHAHAH!" She just laughed, a high-pitched, unhinged sound, and plunged back into the fray.

The battlefield was madness, and it took us about five bloody hours, but slowly the tide began to ebb. The infected numbers slowly, finally starting to thin. And soon enough—

The breeding chamber was littered with torn, broken bodies. Some, caught mid-lunge, lay sprawled and unmoving, while others twitched feebly as their last breaths wheezed out. The entire hall stank of raw meat, overcooked flesh, and thick, clotting fluids.

My body was drenched with sweat and blood. Black, tar-like fluid dripped from my flail. Umbra lay on his haunches, his shadowy paws painted darker than black, and Eva had two long, infected limbs clenched in her tail, like trophies. She was grinning from ear to ear, her wings stretched like a feral demon of old.

I lay on my back catching breath from the intense fighting, letting out a mental sigh, but then...

"Hm?" I felt something poking me, right between my legs, and when I opened my eyes and looked, I was staring at... Sigh, Eva was trying to shove a bloody severed arm up my pussy.

"Eva, I'm warning you, stop!"

"What?" She innocently tried to protest. "I'm trying to be a good wife and feed you."
