Chan-woo frowned. "You can leave if you want to, but I'm staying."
Dong-geun gave him a blank stare in response.
"What?" Chan-woo hissed.
He shook his head. "Why do you have to be so stubborn all the time?"
Chan-woo almost vomited blood at his words, but before he could give him a piece of his mind, he saw a shadow stirring ahead, its form growing larger and larger by the second. Chan-woo's heart thundered as he watched the shadow turn into a hulking beast. He quickly reached for his sword as the beast emerged from the mist.
It was massive. A behemoth-sized, its shoulders nearly scraping the walls. Jagged teeth jutted from its maw, each one as long as Chan-woo's forearm, and its eyes glowed with a predatory hunger that made the hair on the back of his neck rise.
