Leia caught the look in Ronan's eyes and couldn't help but smile. There was something in his gaze. It was appreciation, warmth, and maybe a little awe that made her heart flutter just a bit.
"Did you… Buy this for me?" she asked, glancing down at the swimsuit before meeting his eyes again.
"Yeah," Ronan replied, wading closer to the edge of the pool. "I picked it up yesterday. I figured we might end up swimming, then realized… You didn't have one."
Leia looked at him, pleasantly surprised. "And it fits perfectly," she said, turning slightly as if to show how well it hugged her form. "You really thought this through, didn't you?"
Ronan gave a modest shrug, but the pride in his smile betrayed him. "I just wanted you to be comfortable. And… maybe look stunning too. Guess I got both right."
"By the way, did Kieran go out as well?" Leia asked, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Ronan nodded. "Yeah, he stepped out not long after Lucien."
