"Bl-blackmail? Why would you even think such a thing?"
"Your reaction right now says it all." Gael said, frowning at her, "You were able to trust me with your son's life, but yet you can't trust me with what's going on with you?"
"They aren't the same thing. Even if I tell you this, I am certain that all I will receive from you is judgment and disgust. A man like you would never understand." Andrea said and pushed him away. She got down from his desk, but before she could walk past him, he held her hand and pulled her closer to him.
"I will decide what my judgment will be, and not you." Gael said harshly and let go of her.
Andrea was stunned by his remark, but she quickly regained herself when she saw him rushing to the envelope.
"No!" She yelled as she ran to him, trying to snatch the envelope from his hands.
Gael raised his hand high above his head so that no matter how hard Andrea tried, she couldn't collect it from him.
