"How much can I get for this?" Andrea asked, pulling her nose mask up her face to cover her identity.
The jeweler looked at the diamond ring carefully and then back at her. A suspicious look in his eyes as he observed the girl who had tied her hair in a ponytail and was dressed in black leather jeans and a jacket. Her clothes didn't look cheap, but he was well aware that some people were capable of making thrift wear look expensive, and what bothered him the most was the fact that the young lady was covering half of her face, and the face cap she had also worn made her look really suspicious. What if he was dealing with a thief?
"How much?" Andrea repeated, tired of being stared at.
The jeweler cleared his throat and asked, "Before I reply to you, I must know if this is yours or if you have perhaps stolen it."
"I can assure you that it's mine, so let's just get straight to the point." Andrea said, sounding irritated.
