While she was walking, she and a female doctor who was wearing a green mask to hid her face bumped on each other.
"Are you fucking blind?" Scarlett roared at her angrily before walking past her.
As she walked past her, the female doctor slowly removed her mask and her wig.
The moment the wig came off, his face came into view and it was no other person than Chen, Logan's man. He had come here in disguise to come check some records of any twins that was born about twenty years plus ago. But there was no record and when he was leaving, he had bumped on Scarlett Boswell, the woman who was trying to pin a fake pregnancy on Logan?
He couldn't really wait to expose her scumbag to the world. Tomorrow was almost here. He thought before walking out of the office.
Scarlett walked inside an office and greeted an old grey haired man who was probably in his early 70s.
"Good afternoon doc. I came here to confirm something". She said with a straight forward tone. She wasn't in the mood to banter words with anyone.
She just wanted to clear her mind as the nut in her stomach had grew so much she felt like throwing up.
The old doctor stared at her with a small smile before nodding his head for her to go ahead.
"Do you perhaps know someone bearing Hannah?" She asked hopefully, making the old doctor raised his brows in confusion.
"Sorry Miss, we have so many Hannah we attend to in this clinic. Can you clarify what you mean by Hannah?"
Scarlett gritted her teeth in anger. She didn't want to use Logan's surname for that bitch, but she had no choice.
She cleared her throat as she said with a forced smile,
"Mrs Hannah Emerson, the wife of Logan Emerson".
The doctor's eyes widened in surprise as he didn't expect someone like her to know a celebrity couple like them? Ever since the viral video of Logan and Hannah introduction party, the doctor couldn't help but smile and be happy for the woman that had married into wealth.
The doctor had a wide grin on his face and saiaf with an enthusiastic tone,
"Of course,who wouldn't know them?"
Scarlet was tempted to tell him she was a contracted wife, but she feared about that anonymous message she had received from that unknown number. If she as much do or say anything against Hannah, only God knows, what will happen to her.
"Okay, since you know her, have she been here? You know I'm her best friend. I came fi find out if she is pregnant as the Emersons are expecting an heir sooner or later." She lied smoothly.
The doctor's eyes widened before he shook his head.
"No miss. She hasn't, but she had been at doctor Greg side , receiving treatment". The doctor explained making her furrow her brows in confusion and asked.
"Receiving treatment? Why? Is she sick?" Scarlett asked with a worried tone. Since she hadn't come here, her mind had slowly settled then it has risen again when she heard she was receiving treatment. What type of treatment could she be receiving?
The doctor shook his head a though he didn't know.
"I don't know much. Maybe you can find out from Dr Greg ". He suggested.
Scarlett furrowed her brows deeply and quickly smiled,
"Thanks doc for your time. I will be leaving now". She said and stood up to leave.
Once she was out of the office, so many thoughts flooded her head.
"Was Hannah dying?" She thought and quickly shook her head. She wouldn't let Hannah die like that, without a torture.
She would have to come back tomorrow or another time. She couldn't afford to be caught snooping around illegally in a hospital. With that thought in mind, she left the hospital and decided to go home. It's been a while since she last saw him and she suddenly felt slightly irritated that she was going to see her stupid stepmother again.
How she wished she could just kill that damn forsaken woman. That woman was like a pest in her life.

In Logan's mansion,
Hannah was sitting on the bed when a knock on the door distracted her from her deep thoughts.
She jolted back to reality and went to open the door.
It was Flora.
"My apologies for disturbing. But master instructed me to come and pack your clothes for a mini trip. " She said head bowed.
Hannah pursed her lips hard before speaking,
"No need. I would do it myself. Just get dinner ready". She said and Flora bowed before leaving. Once she left, she turned back inside and almost turned away to run away when she saw him standing naked in front of the bathroom.
Her heart began to race fiercely than before and she quickly turned to face the door.
She felt as though the world was about to collapse in front of her. Why did he have to come out naked?her heart was pounding wildly and ferociously in her chest as though any seconds from now, it will escape from her ribcage.
Oh no , this was bad, really bad. She thought as she fiddled with her fingers. She could feel his intense gaze on her and it made her want to scurry away in fear and embarrassment.
She felt so embarrassed to the core. Her whole body was burning hot and her face ,turned a beautiful color of red.
Logan, who had seen her face turned red in embarrassment couldn't help but be amused by her.
He was slowly beginning to find her funny and adorable for some strange reasons and it made him clenched his fists subconsciously.
He went towards the dressing room and pushed the brown door opened before going in and slamming the door close, making her heart skip a beat.
Hannah didn't dare turn back and remained facing the door for some few seconds to steady her heart beat that had increased. She felt all her blood rushed to her neck and she gnashed her teeth to stop blushing like a foolish person.
