Back in the hospital,
Logan couldn't sit nor pick his calls. He had wanted to punish her badly for escaping, and here was the outcome. "If he had known, he'd have ju....." He sigh as he ruffle his already disheveled hair.
"Hannah, what are you doing to me now? He murmured. Each time he tries to hurt her , his heart acts in a weird way that was unknown to him. Could he already.....? Hell no, that can't be possible. He can't fall for her. The one woman, he has ever loved and will want to be with for the rest of his life is her, Scarlet. He had loved her but she had gone ahead and cheated on him with another man. He only wants to use Hannah to make Scarlet pay for what she has done to him. He shouldn't be falling for a low class that isn't even up to his standard.
"She barely knows how to use a fork and a knife". While he was lost in his own world, a voice jolted him back to reality.
"Logan, where is she?" Caroline asked while Charles gave Logan a suspicious look. He knew it will never be possible for Logan to let Hannah even have a little injury not to talk of an accident.
The doctors are attending to her. He said with a monotone voice.
Logan, we need to speak urgently. Charles spoke and Logan nodded his head and followed him out of the hospital. The night was slowly coming to an end as dawn was already covering the cloud.
How did she got into an accident? Charles asked.

The man who tried to rape my wife. I killed them all, tell their boss. Their leader who tells them to bring innocent women for sex slavery, should stay away from my wife if not the whole of NYC will be covered in blood. He said in a bland tone.
F*ck, don't tell me your wife almost got raped by Gregor's men? Charles couldn't help but chuckle darkly. I guess giving them a warning is quite little. Why not scare them? Charles suggested with a devilish smile.

"Why are you stubborn? You deep down know you have mixed feelings for her , but here you are trying to deny it when it's obviously true you are....."
"If I were you, I wouldn't waste time on my relationship life". Logan said coldly and walked back inside the hospital. While Charles had an expressionless face. If truly it's Gregor that sent his men to attack Hannah, he'd have no choice but to kill him. Charles thought to himself. He took in a deep sigh and went back inside the hospital.
Upon entering the hospital, he saw how Caroline looked pale and overly stressed. He sigh once again before approaching her.
"Carol, what's wrong?" He asked as he pulled her by her waist. But Caroline pushed him away.
Why did Logan did that? She asked before she turned to look at the emotionless statue man that was unmoving.
She walked towards him and faced him head on.
"Fine, we all know you don't love her but why are you going as far as torturing her?" Carol asked a sparkle of tears in her eyes. You know fully well she never wanted this but yet, you went ahead and punished her. Why? What was her offence? She questioned venting all her frustration on him. But Logan didn't say a single word and the next moment felt like a tingling slap on Caroline.
"Take care of her. I have work to do at the office". He said sharply before walking away leaving Caroline in total disbelief.
"It's okay,carie". Charles said slowly patting her back.
Hannah doesn't deserve this. And I know it's because of her, Scarlet Boswell. That bitch, I swear I will kill her. She said clenching her fists tightly.
Charles sigh. Logan didn't just only leave him here with Caroline but also his dear wife? He moved his hand across his hair and shuffle it before going to sit on one of the empty chairs. It's no one's fault,Carol. Charles said calmly as he pulled away from their embrace.
Caroline stared at him for a long while.
"He abandoned her here after hurting her". She said softly.
He has some work to do. Charles said trying to cover up for his best friend.
Stop covering up for him, we all know he doesn't like her. I hope he doesn't realize late. Carol said and with that, she went to stand in front of the emergency door watching through the small hole that the doctors were attending to Hannah.
After some hours, the doctors came out.
"Doc, how was it?" Carol and Charles asked in unison.
It was fine. But...
"But what?"! A deep cold familiar voice asked walking towards them. It was no other person than Logan.
Thought this dude left. Charles muttered under his breath. Logan began to walk towards them with his steady and intimidating steps making the people around them shiver a little.
But what? He asked his voice colder than usual. The reason why he had come back was because he realized that he shouldn't have left her there. So before he could reach his office, he made a u turn back to the hospital. The moment he entered the hospital, he walked as fast as his legs could carry until he reached where the doctors were having a serious conversation with Caroline and Charles and the last statement he heard the doctors said made him unleash his deadly aura.
