Chapter 4 - YNSF Renai AB-3

Story Arc: Welcome to the Normandy SR-2

Episode 1: Jane Shepard's First Contact

Chapter 1: YNSF Renai AB-3

Plot: Mash Kyrielight went on a mission to take advanced technologies from the Galvans along with her Senpai and Amelia Blight.

The mission was a success, but when they left Galvan territory, several things happened.

Forcing the YNSF Renai AB-3 Frigate to use a dangerous means of escape, jettisoning its current dimension in favor of a dimension where something called, Mass Effect, exists.

POV Narrator

Mash Kyrielight doesn't remember exactly how long, but she promised herself that she would stay by her Senpai's side until the end.

When he made this promise he didn't know what it would entail, but looking back he doesn't regret it in the least, even if there were some less pleasant parts.

Mash had expected her end to come in less than a year, leaving her Senpai in the hands of women and some trusted men.

But fate did what it did to allow Mash to live longer than expected and be at the side of her Senpai, Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont.

At first, Mash stayed with her Senpai in Boston, then she traveled all over the world with her Senpai, helping him in his work as a Detective/Vigilante/Sorcerer/Scientist.

When Earth began to lose its allure, Mash followed her Senpai across countless worlds of the Multiverse, the benefits of having a Planeswalker as your Master, it can literally take you anywhere.

Time travel, Space travel, Travel to other worlds, Travel to the Microverse, Travel to the Macroverse, Travel to other dimensions, etc.

Mash's entire youth was filled with travels to places few can imagine, seeing the greatest wonders and horrors alongside the Man she loves.

When Mash's Senpai had to take on his responsibilities and give up traveling to lead his people, Mash stayed to help him as his knight and one of his consorts.

Months turned into years, children soon appeared, some adopted, some from other wives, and some from Mash herself.

Clearly, Mash didn't find herself in a traditional marriage, but a polyamorous relationship with its advantages, and the children are easy to love even though Mash isn't the biological mother of almost any of them.

Years passed, children grew up, decades began to pile up, grandchildren and great-grandchildren appeared.

The passage of time could have put an end to the story of Mash and her unusual family, but when that family is filled with witches and some mad scientists, life expectancy exceeds expectations.

Fifty years became a century, then two centuries, finally reaching five centuries.

Mash's Senpai, believing he had done more than enough for his people, passed his position to his second daughter, Adara B. Kurata, and retired.

Mash never imagined for a second that she would live out the rest of her life in a country house with her age-old lovers.

Retirement proved to be the beginning of another series of absurd journeys to places never seen before, all aboard an extremely large and ready-for-anything ship.

XXX

In Dimension BT-10, somewhere in the Milky Way Galaxy, a frigate is rushing through space, trying to put as much distance as possible between the planet Galvan Mark II and itself.

This Starship is called, YNSF Renai AB-3, it is a Tanken-class Light Frigate.

It is 640 meters long, 220 meters wide, 320 meters high, and weighs 1.25 million tons.

Its outward appearance vaguely resembles that of Earth's navy ships, but a thousand times more advanced and dark.

The Starship's chassis is made of a smooth, shiny, dark black metal.

The Renai's pointed nose looks capable of ramming and tearing through the armor of almost any enemy Starship.

A long, pink fluorescent stripe runs through the middle of the Starship. Many other segments of the Starship have neon blue stripes and segments, with the occasional dark purple.

Simply put, the YNSF Renai AB-3 is an advanced Starship that looks intimidating and fascinating, as if it is ready for the most advanced warfare ever.

XXX

The Renai's command room is an extremely clean, U-shaped room painted lavender and white with neon purple circuit-like lines on the walls.

In the hall there are six elaborate seats, made of a silver-like material, positioned two forward, two on the left side and two on the left side.

The front seats are reserved for the pilot and co-pilot, who have the means to pilot the spacecraft, via a steering wheel, an interface consisting of a set of screens, keyboards, many buttons and some handles.

The seats on the left are reserved for the Flight Engineer and the Chief Scientist.

The first is responsible for keeping an eye on the Starship's status and keeping it functional no matter what may happen, while the second is practically a jack-of-all-trades, helping make decisions on unknown matters.

The seats on the right are reserved for the Communications Manager and the Astro-Navigator.

The former has a more self-explanatory role, while the latter is responsible for planning travel routes and studying the surroundings in search of possible dangers or advantages.

At the center of the command room is a mighty technological throne of gleaming black metal, decorated with neon purple lines.

At the moment, there are only three people in the Renai AB-3's control room: Mash Kyrielight, Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont, and Amelia Blight.

Mash Kyrielight is a Demi-Servant and Designer Baby for this seasoning of hers and with a little Magical/Scientific help she looks like an 18 year old girl, despite being 563 years old, not counting strange chronological experiences.

Mash is 158 cm tall, has smooth white skin, lilac/pink hair, worn long to her waist with a short fringe that covers her left eye.

Her figure is quite athletic and her breasts have provoked comments from many men and women about her physique, so much so that she has earned the nickname "Mashmallow".

Mash wears a tight black and pink spacesuit, she is serving as Astro-Navigator in the present.

Sitting in the pilot's seat is Amelia Blight, a Half-Elder Witch from the planet Ysatnaf in the Boiling Isles region.

Amelia, due to her race and unique lineage, has an extremely long life expectancy far superior to that of other inhabitants of Ysatnaf, who can reach 800 years of age thanks to state-of-the-art medical treatments.

Amelia estimates that she could reach 3,000 years of age without receiving any treatment.

For this reason, although Amelia is 567 years old, she looks like a young woman in her early twenties.

Amelia has ivory-colored skin, long pointed ears, and small tusks.

Amelia's smooth face is enhanced by long eyelashes, high cheekbones, and large, almost sparkling emerald green eyes.

His hair is a lot of neon yellow, long and straight, reaching his hair, with a fringe cut in his own style.

Amelia wears glasses with a yellow frame and rectangular lenses.

Amelia is extremely tall, reaching a staggering two meters in height, not counting her 15-centimeter heels.

She has a slim and shapely build, an overly developed breast and surprisingly toned arm muscles.

Its three dimensions are: (B120-W70-H99).

Amelia wears a black and yellow spacesuit, tight and form-fitting like Mash's suit, but much more advanced and with several built-in gadgets.

Finally, sitting on the throne commanding the Light Frigate is Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont, aka Traveler.

He can be simply defined as a Mutant / Hybrid (3/8 Human from Earth-2126, 2/8 Phantasmal Species, 2/8 Witch of Ysatnaf, 1/8 ?).

Bruce is 175 centimeters tall, with a lean and thin physique, some might call it bony.

The Traveler's face features soft, delicate features, thin eyelashes, and facial features reminiscent of Artoria Pendragon or Morgan Le Fay, some of her ancestors through her maternal grandmother.

Thanks to these two characteristics, it is easy to mistake him for a girl, not even his androgynous and pleasant-sounding voice helps.

Her skin color is light purple/white, smooth and free of blemishes.

The Traveler's hair is a light lilac, almost white, and is very long, kept in a variation of the Hime cut with the addition of a couple of braids.

The hairstyle consists of a front fringe, straight side locks, length up to the cheeks that hide the ears.

The Traveler's long hair is tied in two braids: a front braid that covers the left side of his face and a back braid that falls behind his head, past his shoulders.

The back braid is thick and intricate, as if the Traveler were a relative of Rapunzel; the braid reaches knee-length.

This braid is decorated with seven long red strands made of an unknown material.

At the end of the braid is a large, thick silver accessory, shaped like a ring, decorated with runes of an unknown alphabet.

The back braid is simple and elegant: it covers the Traveler's left eye, then becomes thinner and continues until it reaches the heart area.

This braid is decorated with a purple ribbon and at the end there are four silver beads.

The right eye is visible and displays a fluorescent purple coloration with the pupil of a raptor.

Its ears are long and pointed, like those of an elf.

The Traveler displays physical features reminiscent of a dragon or demon: two large, curved amethyst-colored horns on top of its head, four large bat-like wings on its back, and a long tail covered in amethyst-colored scales.

Bruce wears a skintight black jumpsuit that makes Mash and Amelia's outfit look rather demure.

The main piece of the costume starts from the ankles and reaches down to the waist, hugging the legs and thighs in the right way.

Around her ankles are futuristic-looking silver bracelets.

The suit's material rises up the thigh area, reaching up to the chest to cover the nipple area, leaving the abdomen, much of the chest and the back exposed.

The material continues upwards reaching the neck area where it forms a crew neck.

The secondary piece of the suit is the narrow black sleeves that start at the wrists and end halfway at the biceps.

Around the wrists are futuristic-looking silver bracelets.

Bruce's skin is covered in various tattoos and arcane symbols.

One of the most notable tattoos is located on the back of his left hand, a tattoo consisting of seven red segments, reminiscent of a crescent moon.

An outsider who isn't familiar with the Traveler might say that she's a Dragon-Girl or a Succubus around the end of puberty, not a 565-year-old Planeswalker (officially).

The Traveler can, if he wishes, take on an appearance indistinguishable from a human being.

But spending so much time away from Earth and traveling through space in a galaxy filled with aliens of every shape and culture has left its mark on him.

The Traveler much prefers to be seen as a purple-skinned alien with draconic features and wearing tight clothing that allows immense freedom of movement.

Something that doesn't bother Amelia and Mash, for rather obvious reasons.

"Ladies, I have to admit the stealth approach worked. Using the Light Frigate, Renai AB-3, was the right move to complete this technology pickup," the Traveler said, his voice filled with joy.

In Bruce's hand is a futuristic black pistol with a cross-shaped energy indicator on the back.

"I told you, the Renai can handle this mission better than the Moonbreaker." Amelia said, activating the Starship's autopilot, before turning her seat toward the throne.

"You were right, Amelia. But I'm sure that using the Moonbreaker's direct approach and devastating force, we could have obtained immensely greater loot from Azmuth's laboratories." The Traveler replies, caressing the futuristic pistol in his hand.

"Senpai, we managed to get what you wanted, plus two pieces of advanced technology from the Galvans and the Galvanic Mechamorphs. All without having to use the Moonbreaker, a one-hundred-kilometer-long Supercarrier, which is literally all we have," Mash said, implying that the stealthy approach was the best move in her opinion.

"I'll settle for our current haul: a Mechamorph Armor, a digital archive of 1,000,903 DNA samples, and the fruit of my close collaboration with Azmuth, the Graviton Beam Emitter." Bruce replies, forgetting about the level 17 or higher tech he could have acquired.

"Senpai, if I didn't know you, I'd say you've read Tsutomu Nihei's works too many times. But in the hangar we have working versions of Star Wars vehicles and we're part of an interstellar government that took some elements of the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40,000 as inspiration," Mash said, knowing he was in the company of eccentric people who loved sci-fi before it became an everyday reality.

"It's not easy to take science fiction vehicles from a fictional universe and create them in real life," said Amelia, one of two people responsible for creating Starships and other Star Wars-inspired equipment and more.

"But it was extremely fun and satisfying to do," said Bruce, being second in command for the existence of Star Wars-style technology.

Mash, being a woman who has often spent centuries in the company of these two mad/eccentric scientists, says nothing, simply focuses on a more important matter.

"You know, Senpai, why did we have to go through all this mission to get the GBE?" asks the lavender-haired woman, curious as to why the three of them had to work so hard to get a gun.

"You, Amelia, and Azumuth created it together, right? Can't you two just recreate it yourselves once we return to the homeland, where you can ask for all the resources you need?" Mash asks, she's sure that the Sorceress and the Planeswalker can recreate the GBE.

"It's not that simple, Bruce and I are only 2/3 of the creators of this advanced device and miniaturization is not our specialty." Amelia states, while adjusting her glasses.

The Witch of Ysatnaf has as one of her specialties, macro engineering, which means she is good at building increasingly larger and more complex vehicles, weapons, and buildings.

Basically, the opposite of what is needed to build a gun-shaped Graviton Beam Emitter.

"I hate to admit it, but Azmuth is smarter than me or Amelia when it comes to certain fields of science," Bruce confesses with a bitter expression.

He would certainly have preferred to pull out his teeth with pliers than repeat this phrase.

Something Mash and Amelia know very well, the two of them being some of the best experts in the Multiverse when it comes to reading Bruce's emotional responses.

"Azmuth is 1,700 years old, he's been part of a well-established interstellar society since its inception and hasn't held any other role than that of a Scientist. It's only natural that he knows more than either of us," Amelia said, trying to make her purple-skinned lover feel better.

"Senpai, when we were in our twenties, Earth and Ysatnaf were level 2 planets out of 20 in terms of technology. You've dedicated more than three-quarters of your life to your role as a hero and leader. If you'd been born on a more advanced and peaceful world, one that didn't have to be constantly saved, you would surely have become the Galaxy's Supreme Scientist," Mash said, trying to help cheer up her Master.

"Amelia, Mash, I already love you both, but for this partially true consolation, I love you even more. Once we get back to Moonbreaker, I'd like to take a little break from work. Perhaps we can visit a Paradise Planet or attempt breeding in my room?" Bruce said, wanting to reward his ladies for their efforts and dedication.

The two women blink, remaining silent for a few seconds. Mash and Amelia are surprised by Bruce's proposal; he's a workaholic, often forced to take time off.

Except for holidays, anniversaries and birthdays, he doesn't take the initiative to advance the romance.

"Senpai, you'd better not change your mind, because I've been wanting to visit the Tropical Planet, Iiawah-5, for a long time." Mash said, having wanted to visit that place for a long time.

It's been a long time since Mash put on a swimsuit and walked on a real beach.

"I would have preferred a snowy planet with forests and mountains. But if Mash wants sand and ocean, she'll get sand and ocean. After all, it's her turn to decide where to celebrate," Bruce thinks, choosing to grant Mash's wish.

"The rest of the family will be happy with this news, a holiday like the old days, maybe we can get some new additions to the family," Amelia said, placing a hand on her stomach.

'The biological clock has started ticking again, well, if it happens, it happens, if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.' Bruce thinks, wisely choosing not to say anything for or against the idea, leaving it to chance to decide.

"Amelia, can we get back to talking about the GBE? Mash hasn't gotten a full explanation yet." Bruce said, looking from his two ladies to his new toy.

"In short, with Azmuth we were able to build a GBE that can be held in the hand and requires no ammunition or maintenance."

Amelia's mind stops producing ideal images of a beautiful family vacation and returns to thinking about her numerous scientific projects.

"Without Azmuth, Bruce and I could build a GBE but it would be as big as a Super-Dreadnought, could only fire a few times before needing to cool down and require maintenance. Not to mention that the power source and projectiles would be difficult to build and use well in a space war scenario," Amelia said, only being able to build the very weapon Bruce holds in his hand as a mega project.

"Azmuth took what used to be a giant world-destroying weapon and made it a one-handed gun. Super-Geniuses are scary, no matter the species," Mash comments, finally understanding the Galvan Prime Thinker's contribution.

"But Azmuth's work isn't impossible to replicate. I'm confident that if we put our best minds to work, within ten years we'll uncover the secrets of Azmuth's improvements to our project," Bruce said, his voice filled with certainty.

"I'll take your word for it, Senpai, after all, reverse engineering is your specialty." The lavender-haired woman said, being able to recite a whole list of lost or alien technologies and magics that Bruce eventually analyzed and understood.

The Planeswalker raises his left hand, holding the GBE, and does the same with his right hand, pretending to hold a pistol. Then, he pretends to fire two pistols directly at an imaginary target.

"As I said before, miniaturization isn't my specialty, but I can handle the power source. I've always been the best at studying new materials and exotic energies." Amelia said, interested in understanding the energy workings of a miniaturized GBE.

"These two scientists can't really catch a break, but they're my two mad scientists." Mash thinks fondly, not wanting to change Amelia and Bruce. Mash finds it fascinating to watch her two lovers work together, putting their great minds to good use.

Suddenly, the image of a pre-teen girl appears on the screens in the Renai AB-3 Control Room, who could be described as a little Mash Kyrielight, but with elf ears, purple eyes, and neon blonde hair.

The little girl on the screens is the AI of the Starship Renai AB-3, ADELA (Advanced Discovery and Exploration of Liveable Atmospheres).

"Moms, Dads, we have problems!" ADELA declares in an alarming voice.

"ADELA (Advanced Discovery and Exploration of Liveable Atmospheres) what happened?" asks Amelia, returning to her pilot seat, ready to perform evasive maneuvers or launch plasma missiles.

"A fleet of warships is approaching!" ADELA said, causing one hundred signals of approaching ships to appear on the radar.

"Did the Galvans find us?" Bruce asks, believing the little amphibians want back the technology they secretly took during the night.

A fleet of warships is approaching!" ADELA said, showing on the main screen in the control room how the radars had detected one hundred signals of ships that had entered the star system.

"Worse, they're Incursean warships!" ADELA exclaims, being able to identify the type of ships with ease.

ADELA's database contains a detailed record of every ship their Fleet has ever encountered, making it easy for her to use her long-range sensors to scan the target and search its archives for the results.

The Renai crew's good mood has been replaced by annoyance and irritation, as if they were dealing with a stupid dog, which continues to be a nuisance despite being beaten several times.

"I repeat what I said at 16 on Amphibia, I hate frogs!" Bruce exclaims, not hiding his contempt for amphibians, especially Incurseans.

"Despite the many negative traits of their warlike species, they are persistent," Mash said, having to admit that those alien frogs do not want to give up.

"What did I do to deserve having an entire alien race want me dead?" Bruce asks, his tone exasperated.

"As for the Incurseans: You pummeled their emperor until he begged for mercy, then pummeled him into a pulp, and then posted a recording of the event on the galactic internet." Amelia mentions an event that ruined the Incurseans' official reputation as a proud and powerful race.

"Dad, you blasted their main space station, which housed the top brass of their empire, into the air. The only survivor was their Princess, who lost an eye, both legs, and an arm." ADELA recounts one of the worst incidents in the Incurseans' recent history.

"Senpai, don't forget that you unleashed a techno-magical computer virus on several Incursean military communications satellites, turning thousands of their spacecraft into space debris." Mash said, drawing out another insult against the alien frogs from Bruce.

"According to the records, 1/3 of our business as Rogue Traders was the sale of military-grade weapons, medical equipment, and nuclear bombs to various rebel organizations on conquered Incursean planets." ADELA said, bringing up a graph of their finances.

It is quite obvious that Incursean blood paid for a good portion of their fleet's expenses.

"Don't forget that our fleet hasn't missed an opportunity to take on mercenary jobs that involve attacking their warships, plundering their merchant ships, razing their outposts, or performing surgical strikes on their infrastructure," Amelia said, losing count of how many times she's piloted a Starship or Star-Mech against Incursean forces.

"It wasn't anything personal, just business. I was paid by a bunch of different people and factions to put a spoke in the Incurseans' wheels," Bruce said, considering everything he'd done against the alien frogs as the usual Tuesday deal.

"If I hadn't done it, another person or mercenary group would have. Those alien frogs are hated by half the galaxy, just look at what's happened in the last year," Bruce said, gesturing with his hands.

"Once the Incurseans began to show weakness, there were numerous rebellions on the conquered planets, and neighboring nations missed no opportunity to attack their hated neighbor," Bruce said, certain that his presence had only accelerated a process that had already begun some time ago.

"Senpai, you're right, the Incursean Empire would have fallen one way or another. They were too expansive, their society was too war-focused, there were numerous social problems, and so many people wanted their downfall. But you're underestimating your contribution." Mash said, knowing that her beloved is so accustomed to making the impossible possible that he doesn't realize the scope of his actions and the far-reaching consequences.

"Dad, to the Incursians, you are their personal Attila the Hun, they consider you one of the main people responsible for the collapse of their empire, especially the Princess who swore revenge against you." ADELA said, finding nothing funny about having an alien cyborg warrior princess who wants to kill her father.

"The Princess is definitely trying hard, she gathered the last robes of the Incursean Empire just to kill me. I wonder how she found me?" Bruce said, placing a hand under his chin, his expression thoughtful.

"I'd ask how a Light Frigate is going to hold its own against a war fleet of a hundred starships. I don't like our odds." Mash said, worried about the situation.

The lavender-haired woman is sure that if it were a ground battle, they could win, after all, each of them is leagues above the common Incursean soldiers.

However, in space combat, their capabilities are much more limited, having to rely on the Starship's capabilities or via Star-Mecha and Star-Armor.

"I have a plan in my head about how he could win by turning the Renai AB-3 into a giant bomb, crashing/detonating it into the Princess's flagship, then escaping with the Star-Mechs cloaked in an illusion. But I'm tired of playing with these alien frogs," Bruce said, pressing a button on the arms of his technological throne.

A rather complex and advanced holographic screen appeared in front of the Rogue Trader Militant, linked to all of the Starship's systems.

"You don't want to fight the Incursians and you definitely don't want to run away, what do you want to do, Senpai?" Mash asks, more concerned about her beloved man than the fleet of warships.

The Demi-Servant woman learned early on that her Senpai, if left unattended and unprompted, can become a greater danger than any external enemy.

Bruce's magic and mad science have made the lives of Mash and the people around them quite eventful, especially in times of peace.

"Send our exact location to the galactic internet, along with a long list of insults and taunts to the scoundrels that populate space. I'll also add the fact that I stole advanced technology from Azmuth," Bruce said, typing on a holographic keyboard.

"Do you want to gather all the people who hate you in one place?" Amelia asks, raising her voice, not having a good idea what her beloved/lab partner is doing.

"Yes." Was Bruce's short, terse response before hitting the send key.

"Why did you do that!?" Mash and Amelia ask out loud.

The two women exchange a quick glance, and we begin to think that their beloved may be going through one of his "bad moments" or that he has finally gone completely mad.

"Simple. Once we disappear without a trace, all the scoundrels who arrive shortly will think the Princess of the Incurseans has captured me. A fierce battle will break out between my enemies; those who don't fall will be weakened and captured by the Galvan defense fleet, which will arrive to investigate the conflict in their territory." Bruce said, laying out his cunning plan.

"Where two fight, the third wins." The lavender-haired woman mutters, understanding what her Senpai wants to do.

"We made bigger leaves than this. So how do we get out? Use an illusion spell or activate the Gatespace drive?" Amelia asks, knowing two methods to disappear and avoid combat.

Bruce is about to say that they should cast an illusion spell and prepare a course of travel back to the flagship, Moonbreaker.

Before he could do so, his good eye took on an unusual color, no longer fluorescent purple, but instead resembling the star-filled night sky, as if space were trapped within his eye.

For a few moments, Bruce no longer saw the Renai AB-3's control room, instead he saw a hundred frames in rapid succession.

As this phenomenon occurred, it disappeared, leaving Bruce with a mild migraine and a gut feeling to change his retreat method.

'Sometimes I hate my gifts.' Bruce thinks, placing the palm of his hand over his right eye, wishing for blindness.

XXX

Explanations.

Bruce Bel Bahamut Belmont is a complicated individual, often unpredictable even to the people who have been close to him for a very long time.

His unpredictable and seemingly senseless actions are often the product of his distorted mind and inability to sit still and do nothing.

But there is a third factor that guides his actions: his special abilities.

Bruce, in his five-century life (officially) has done everything and seen everything, and during his many adventures he has learned new tricks and new applications for old tricks.

But he also developed special abilities that altered the way he perceives the world around him.

The most important ones regarding his everyday life are [Sjálfr Sjálfum Mér] & [Look To The Stars].

Sjálfr Sjálfum Mér is an ability that literally altered his vision.

Following in the footsteps of Odin, written in myth, Bruce in a moment of madness and delirium killed a dragon, ate its heart, then hanged himself from a tree for seven days and seven nights, all with a sword piercing his heart.

Barely surviving the ritual, Bruce took the final step of sacrificing the concept of his body's left eye, all to gain Wisdom.

This Wisdom has nourished Bruce and changed him in ways that cannot be easily measured or explained.

The most obvious sign was the transformation of his right eye into an extremely rare and powerful Mystic Eye.

His vision has expanded beyond worldly perception. Now, by concentrating, he can reach with his senses the past, present, and future, and the realms beyond.

The distance he can see varies depending on many factors, and what is close is easier to see than what is far, but with enough knowledge, power, experience, and a good vantage point, Bruce can see the universe in its entirety.

Unfortunately, such a broad vision is difficult to assimilate by a single mind.

For these reasons, Bruce tries not to actively use this gift, limiting its conscious uses to the vision of the present and nothing larger than a city.

Unfortunately, this power doesn't have a real on/off button, leaving a strong impact on the subconscious level.

It is not uncommon for Bruce to dream about events that are about to happen or have waking visions when important events are about to take place.

Look To The Stars is an ability gained when Bruce formed an unbreakable bond with a certain creature.

Simply put, Look To The Stars can be considered a sort of precognitive instinct that can function as a combination of the "Spider-Sense" and the "Revelation" of Ruler (Jeanne d'Arc).

This instinct pushes Bruce to go in a specific direction at a specific time, making sure he is the right man at the right time, ending up getting involved in something important.

In simpler, more video game-like terms, this ability is basically a compass that shows the direction to the next mission.

End of explanation.

Returning to the Renai AB-3 command center, Mash and Amelia, knowing Bruce's abilities, recognized the signs.

In the corner of Mash's mind, the thought appeared that her promised vacation to a tropical planet would be postponed until later.

This petty thought remained in the back of Mash's mind, but she has these more important matters that need her attention.

"Senpai, what did you see?" Mash asks in a worried voice for two reasons.

One, receiving these visions causes pain to his Senpai, sometimes they are comparable to a simple pinch on the cheek, other times to a blow from an axe to the head.

Second, Senpai's visions rarely bring good news; they're often a warning of something bad to come.

"I don't know, I didn't have time to process it, I saw a hundred images one after the other in a few moments." Bruce said, still keeping his eye covered, as if that would help.

"Bruce, normally I'd take you to sickbay to check on you, but we've got a whole fleet of problems." Amelia exclaims, putting her heart aside, letting her pilot side take over for now.

"We won't be using Gatespace Drive or illusionary magic, we'll be using my Planeswalker Spark to take us and the Starship out of this space of existence." Bruce said in a serious voice, gripping the throne's arms.

"The Renai is a special frigate, but it's not like our flagship Moonbreaker, which was built to operate with your Planeswalker powers. The Renai doesn't have that capability." Amelia said, fearing for the safety of the vessel and ADELA who lives aboard.

"This frigate has received an upgrade in its energy shields in the last few weeks, now equipped with Gellar Fields." Bruce said, as metal cables extend from the throne and connect to his body.

The two grimaced at the crude method in which Bruce ties/connects himself to the Starship.

The two grimaced at the crude method in which Bruce ties himself to the Starship.

"Theoretically, the Gellar Fields are supposed to create a protective barrier around Renai, shielding her from the lethal effects of the Blind Eternities on non-Planeswalkers. But we haven't done extensive testing for possible side effects," Amelia said, unwilling to resort to this risky method.

"The Incursians are pointing their weapons at us! Papa, bring us here or Mother Mash prepare your shield!" ADELA exclaims, seeing only two options before her.

"If the Renai AB-3 crashes into a planet or sinks, I want the hypothetical Renai AB-4 to be a Cruiser built from scratch for us." Amelia declares, putting on her seatbelt.

"I think we need a co-pilot." Mash said, feeling herself in the co-pilot's seat, ready to help Amelia steer the Renai through a turbulent situation.

"If you ask nicely and wear a waitress outfit, I'll give you an assault carrier," Bruce said, trying to make a joke to lighten the mood, though there was a grain of truth in his words.

Without wasting any more time and risking Renai being hit, Bruce draws on his innate Planeswalker power.

An aura of multicolored energy has appeared around the Rogue Trader Militant, with purple being the dominant color of the aura, a sign of his arcane preferences.

Energy flows from the Planeswalker's body through the throne's mechanical cables and spreads throughout the structure of the entire Frigate.

"Amelia activate the Gellar Fields!" Bruce orders, unable to move as he charges the Starship with his Planeswalker power.

"Gellar Field shields, activate!" Mash said, pressing buttons to activate the Starship's exotic defenses.

On the outside, the Renai AB-3 is shrouded in a pale blue barrier.

"We're about to find out where my instincts take me this time," Bruce mutters, unleashing the full power of his Planeswalker Spark.

In an instant, the YNSF Renai AB-3 Frigate disappeared without a trace from Dimension BT-10.

In the dimension ME-JS-02, somewhere in the Terminus Systems, a certain starship built by the Cerberus organization is about to witness something unprecedented for the inhabitants of this Galaxy.

A few hundred meters from the SSV Normandy SR-2, a strange phenomenon occurred, difficult to describe. A burst of neon purple light followed by the appearance of a massive Starship, by their standards, and of unknown origin.

Jeff Moreau, aka Joker, has seen a lot of strange things since becoming Jade Shepard's pilot, but he probably just saw the most unlikely thing of his entire life.

"Shepard, an unknown ship has appeared in front of the Normandy!" Joker declares, with an alarmed voice, hoping that the Normandy SR-2 will not suffer the same fate as the Normandy SR-1.

▪︎Overview:

- Design details

At 640 meters long, the Renai would be one of the smallest starships in service with the YNSF (Ysatnaf Naval Space Force) if it were not part of a Rogue Trader Militant's fleet.

The standard Tanken-class Light Frigate design features two hull arms located at the bow of the ship, one of which houses the main weapon, the Ramuh Gun.

On the sides of the ship are two types of armed turrets, guns and missile launchers, along with ventral elevators for loading supplies onto a planetary surface.

Thanks to its larger hangar, the Tanken-class Light Frigate is better suited for landing forces ashore than other frigate classes.

But the YNSF Renai AB-3 is no typical frigate; it was designed to perform beyond the normal ratings, receiving equipment, armament, and systems unusual for such a small Starship.

The Renai prides itself on having the best equipment and systems to care for its synthetic crew and rapidly deploy synthetic strike troops.

In exchange for all this, the living quarters of a flesh-and-blood crew take up a rather small section, with only four rooms with two beds in each and rather cramped showers/bathrooms.

- Crew and complement

The Renai has a crew of 500 droids created from scratch to operate this Starship and carry out the orders of Captain Amelia Blight and/or the Rogue Trader Militant.

The Starship Renai's main AI, ADELA, can command the entire vessel by itself, without the need for a synthetic and/or organic crew, although its performance will not be optimal in that case.

The Renai can carry several dropships, an assortment of ground/air/space vehicles, and a battalion of droids.

Renai, being a Tanke-class Light Frigate, boasts one of the largest hangars in terms of volume of any YNSF frigate, which has been further enlarged since construction for greater storage and transport capacity.

- Armament

The Tanken-class frigates are lightly armed compared to their peers.

As a spaceship suitable for transporting and landing troops on a planet, its armaments are more oriented towards providing local fire support.

But the Renai is a custom frigate, requested and built by people with money and authority, so it has received a more varied and powerful array of weapons, such as laser weapons, plasma missiles, even dark matter torpedoes.

Despite the capacity and storage capacity exceeding the norm for a frigate and the sacrifice of some sections for crew quarters, all these weapons take up considerable space.

To partially solve the problem, the Renai was equipped with prototype Miniaturized weapons, to reduce space and weight.
