In the period she was in a coma, Gloria saw a version of her life, how it was supposed to play out and how it was going to end.
In that version, she still got sold to Xander, but Xander didn't show her the video that early. In fact, he never got the chance to show her the video, as she was so busy gathering information and doing crazy things that could make anyone feel very repulsed.
Xander was also busy with his work and unlike in this current version of reality, Xander didn't seem to possess romantic feelings towards her. The only reason he accepted her into his clan and used that method to get her was because of her resemblance to her mother, the mother she didn't know had. After all, she still believed that Anne was her mother. Who knew that she was abducted at a young age?
