Seeing her like that, Jack softened. Moreover, he couldn't bear making her feel wronged like that. Her health wasn't that good. She was his princess.
"Okay. Just get rid of it. Where did you put it?"
Anne faithfully reported the place, and Jack sighed with relief.
"That's a good place to keep it. We will find a day to toss it far away. That way, nothing will come back to us."
Anne acquiesced to that and didn't dare retort.
"You just need to remember that whatever happens, we are innocent. Do you understand me?" Jack reminded sternly, worried that his wife might break down if anything happened in the future.
Anne nodded her head, saying, "I will always bear that in mind but dear, are you sure that side wont leak first?"
Jack scoffed when he heard that and responded, "Umph! With how greedy those people are, I don't think that they would do anything that jeopardizes them. Besides, if they leak, I will drag them down with us. We aren't vegetarians."
