The procedure went on smoothly and there were no issues. There was no change or sudden spikes in meter readings. Everything was stable.
Jonathan was monitoring the situation from outside. Everything was going smoothly.
'It is going too smooth,' thought Jonathan.
'In fact too smooth that there is no spike in energy signature at all.' Since he is a shamanic meridian wielder, his energy signature should have spiked. But nothing happened. The 'Ratherai' plants have fully been utilized, so where did all its energy go?' Jonathan was confused.
Now the procedure was coming to an end. Soon all the medicines & poisons were stopped & the water in the chamber was gradually drained. Soon Ben gradually reached down. The breathing masks were removed & he gradually opened his eyes.
Everyone in the room was stunned. Normally the success of Kayakalpam was associated with some wild release of energy from the person. But nothing happened. No one could Feel any difference from Ben, except that the 'Shamanic Script' on his hand was more bright & pronounced.
But inside him there was multitude of changes. His healing & detoxification capabilities were off the charts. The production of blood & functioning immune system had become more efficient. The 4 meridians were reinforcing the body at tissue level. The aura was stable like the Path of stars given. It was flowing, completing a perfect loop around his body. The overall level & quality of aura had also increased.
The medical staff in charge asked "How do you feel? Any discomfort?". Ben answered "No, nothing at all." Seeing that there was no issue, the staff heaved a sigh of relief & said "Alright, we can move on, you can get dressed. Also, you can also test your strength in our practice room." Ben declined it, "I have some other stuff to do as well, so I will do it the next time."
Ben expressed his thanks to the staff as well as to Jonathan. Jonathan also made offers to Ben for the future.
After parting with Jonathan Ben went to look at the martial repository. By now he also got a sponsorship money from Hughell company which was in fact which came from Whalom after Ruben's blackmail. This brought his savings back to 10 million.
Ruben was actually doing this because, in a few months Ben would have to enter the army after which no form of backing was allowed. This was a stipulation by Vidur. He wanted the successor of 'Saptarishis' to grow up. The 'Saptarishi Samhita' itself was a large boon to any person. Soon Ben was sitting in front of a screen.
He began to curb his excitement & calm his nerves. He did not want to recklessly take many techniques. He wanted to, 'I should take into my current weaknesses & gaps first. I don't have an offensive technique other than rush n' run. Other than that there should be stealth & sensory techniques in my consideration. Well first I will check techniques specifically for my meridian seed—The Shamanic type' . So he took them first.
There were some techniques that were interesting. Most of them had some thing to do with inscriptions. 'So it was true! Aura or life is what gives arrays & inscriptions its power. That means Shamanic meridian wielders have an advantage when it comes to arrays. Well, that puts another thing that I need to look on.'
Ben soon found healing spell, simply named the 'Healing Script'. The base of this is the inscription art. But in case of Shamanic masters only minor one is necessary. Since the base of shamanic meridian seed is life itself, no other chemical is needed. The ultra premium version of this, which evolves with the wielder costs me about 2.5 million mudras. For others it is more than 7 million. 'Man! For the now I am starting to like the Shamanic Meridians!' But still 2.5 million is not an insignificant amount!
After a bit of deliberation Ben decided to go with the 'Healing Script'. That too its highest variation. It took another 4 hours for that to complete. It was compatible with his meridian seed & also the process was the most expensive variety. Hence, the facility completed it fast. Now he had another shamanic script in + shape on his chest. It is barely an outline right now. But when Ben directed aura to that, it began to fill up. It gradually filled the entire outline & became a solid tattoo.
Ben made a deep cut on his hand. As he was making the cut, the wound healed. It was an extremely fast process. At higher cultivation levels, even entire organs could be healed. Right now only normal tissues could be healed or replaced. There were limits to this technique, but still it was something that could be life saving at times.
The next one that got his attention was the 'Script Mask'. It was a technique used to hide Shamanic scripts or for that matter any scripts that is put on the body. This is so that an enemy cannot identify what kind of power one possesses. It also masks the glow of the Shamanic Script which will be like a beacon of unnecessary troubles in a stealth or battle situation. And for Shamanic meridian wielders it was akin to absolute stealth.
'This was a must have for all Shamanic power wielders. Now this was not simply about procedure. But training should also be done. Man that is a bummer. It will take me a day or so to just start & another 4–5 days to master. I need to train in this. This will become an important addition for me'.
Ben continued to look at the shamanic section itself. He did find some skills that could help him, but he was now getting confused. Ultimately, he decided that he would train the 'Script Mask' first.
He went on to purchase the technique. It was only 500,000 Mudras, which compared to many other techniques was quite cheap. Bu the reason for that was simple. It was a technique that depended entirely on the user. If the user mastered it perfectly, they would become extremely adept at stealth with no energy signatures released outside.
But if the mastery of the technique is subpar, the technique just basically reduces the glow of the shamanic script a bit. Thus, the technique was something which developed as the user gained expertise.
There were other techniques which involved using various techniques and inscriptions and extra organs to master the stealth. But none of those were as practical as this one for a shamanic meridian wielder. Also, Ben wanted to purchase some other techniques as well and thus went economic on this one.
