The Black Serpents have been driven by Hee Zhen and his father to fight against enemies since birth, and after defeating them, they are heartlessly driven into the bamboo forest where the Moon Bears reside to be devoured by the giant bears.
In the brief back and forth, from the over eight hundred Black Serpents that survived the battle, only a little over seven hundred remain.
Yet even so, Hee Zhen still plans to exploit them.
At the far end of the left side of the Moon Lake Secret Realm is a treacherous place referred to by Hee Qiang and his son as the Ten Thousand Snakes Cave. Why is it considered a perilous place? Because, taken literally, it means that many, many snakes inhabit this place.
