"Fine," Enma nodded.
Izumi looked at him in surprise. She was not expecting him to agree so fast.
"Is it okay?"
"Yes. The Snake Sage would not mind having another talented student." He stopped, and she stopped too.
Izumi had not felt this excited in a long long time, and as she watched the Uzumaki Heir summon the Snake Contract, her heart started racing in anticipation.
It only started calming down when she had marked the contract with her blood and handprints. Since she was right-handed, she chose to keep the Summoning Seal on her left wrist and then took a deep breath.
"Go on, and remember to only summon an uncontracted Snake." Enma grinned at her, and she failed to hold back her smile as she started performing the Summoning Jutsu.
"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!"
The seal from her hand spread in the ground, and then from a massive puff of smoke, a gigantic green serpent with black rings all over its body emerged.
It had crimson eyes, which stared at them, and then it lowered its massive head and inhaled Izumi's scent.
She noticed that this serpent was even longer than Garaga, and it looked majestic and terrifying, blending in with the dark green of the forest.
"My name is Uchiha Izumi, and I wish to have you as my main summon."
The serpent pulled back and towered over them, still intently looking at them.
"I accept you as my Summoner, Izumi-sama. My name is Mamu, and I am one of the guardians of the Ryuchi Cave." It was a male voice, very polite, and Enma's brow twitched at how respectful this powerful summon was.
Why did he have to get two annoying Summons when everyone else around him had very respectful Summons?
He could not help but sigh, and the gigantic Snake curiously looked at him.
"Enma-sama, Garaga has been creating a lot of trouble inside the Ryuchi Cave recently. He seems upset with you."
"Of course... Tell him that I will feed him some good bodies later."
"Yes," Mamu nodded to him and then bowed to his Summoner. "Will that be all, Izumi-sama?"
"Yes, thank you. You may return to your home," She nodded and the gigantic serpent instantly disappeared, leaving behind clouds of smoke.
Izumi did not realise the silly smile that crept on her face until she turned to look towards Enma, who had his blindfold off and was watching her with his eyelids closed.
"He's nice, isn't he?"
"He's very polite and respectful. I like him," She nodded her head.
"He's one of the strongest Snake Summons. Probably the fourth strongest after Manda, Aoda, and Habu."
"Stronger than Garaga?"
"Physically? Yes. Maybe its poison is stronger as well, but Garaga is special."
"Why?"
"He's red." He grinned, and Izumi deadpanned at him.
Her eyes inadvertently looked at his hair, then at his clothes. He now wore a black and forest green Jonin Jacket, but underneath it, he was still in red and black, as always. Even on the back of his Flak Jacket was the large red Uzumaki Clan symbol.
She had only ever seen him wearing red and black, and on rare occasions, grey, blue, and white.
Yes, she had never seen him in any other colours, not even brown...
"So, red is your favourite colour?"
"Of course." He grinned. "Karin's eyes are beautiful."
She smiled at his words, nodding her head, but then froze and felt her cheeks warm up a little.
"Thank you, Enma." She quickly distracted her mind and bowed to him, expressing her gratitude for letting her have the Snake Contract, and her brow twitched when he stepped forward and patted her head as if she were a child.
"You're welcome."
"What did you mean by bodies?" She asked as she straightened her back.
"The Snakes grow stronger the more bodies with Chakra that they eat. Shinobi-level Chakra."
"Ohh..."
"I don't have to tell you that you must not actively hunt bodies for your Summon. Do I?"
"I am not Sasuke." She blankly looked at him, and he grinned.
"That's true. Let's go." He put the blindfold back on and rushed towards the location where Utakata and that girl with golden hair were hiding.
Izumi was fast and was able to push hard to keep up with his speed without tiring, and only a day later, they were standing on top of a hill, looking at the cave that was covered from the outside, hidden in one of the coastal hills with a beach next to it.
"What are your plans for the Gobi?" She asked, her mind drifting to the image of the Han and the Iwa Shinobi.
Enma stayed silent, focusing on something, and a minute later, when he opened his eyes, his brows furrowed.
"Is everything alright?" She frowned.
"There's something sealed on the back of the girl, something that her body refuses to accept. It's like there is a spider..." he stopped.
"The Tsuchigumo Kinjutsu!" Izumi's eyes widened, and Enma nodded his head.
He directly communicated with the Shadow Clone that was with the Team, informing them that they only needed to focus on protecting the Tsuchigumo Clan.
"What's the plan now?"
"I am going to kill Han and steal Gobi," he answered her earlier question first.
She froze at his words, but then solemnly nodded her head.
Now she understood why he had only brought her with him.
She and Sasuke were the only ones on the Team whom he could trust with such knowledge, and who would never report this matter to anyone. And she was the only one who could help him in his quest if he needed it.
"And the Kinjutsu?"
"I will have to study it first. It's partially linked to that girl's life, but I can remove it without killing her."
Izumi nodded and looked towards the hidden cave.
"Are we going after them now? He's injured, and it's easy to..."
"Not now." He shook his head. "They are having sex. Let's not disturb them."
At first, she was stunned at his words, and then her cheeks warmed up and she locked her arm around his neck, choking him.
"Stop watching them!"
"You are killing me..."
Izumi did not care. She pulled him with her and took him far away from the location.
"You know, I can't really see things? I just see Chakras and outlines..."
"That still counts as peeking!" She angrily looked at him, and he sighed.
"I was not watching them. I switched off my Mind's Eye after confirming the seal on the girl's back."
She finally relaxed a little and nodded her head.
"Good. You shouldn't be peeking at people like that. That's wrong. You wouldn't like someone peeking on you, when, let's suppose you are taking a shower or a bath..."
"I know, Izumi." He sighed. "I don't peek at people and their private affairs. That's disgusting."
"Yes!" She nodded her head again, trying to keep back her blush, soon, she grew a little mad at him as her mind kept thinking about his Mind's Eye and the things he could see and had seen. "You should not have told me that..." she sighed.
"Sorry." He chuckled at her words and then stretched his arms. "I am going to take a nap now. You should get some rest too. And don't worry about them. If they leave, we can still find them."
Izumi watched him jump on a tree and lie down on a large branch, and in a matter of a minute, he was fast asleep.
She looked in the direction of the Jinchuriki of Rokubi and then started preparing her hammock, deciding to get some sleep as well.
Surprisingly, it came fast.
Her hand instinctively reached for her Kunai when she sensed something land on her shoulder, but then she remembered who she was with and relaxed a little.
"Izumi." She opened her eyes, revealing her Sharingan, and saw that the sky had little light in it, but the stars were bright...
Soon, her senses picked up on the appetising smell of the roasted meat, and when she sat up, she saw a wooden table set with fruits and a sumptuous set for her.
"Get up. You have slept long enough."
She frowned at his words and looked at the sky again.
It was not the sky of evening but the sky a couple of hours before dawn.
Taking his hand, she jumped out of her hammock, and then yawned and lazily stretched her arms above her head.
"What did you do?" She lightly asked and glanced at the smile he was wearing on his face.
"Nothing. I just wanted to see how long you would sleep for if left undisturbed."
"Right." She sighed and then Flickered away to head to the nearby creek to freshen up.
Minutes later, when she returned and took her seat at the table, her face was burning up in a blush.
She wanted to ask him if he had been keeping an eye on her but decided that it was better to not know the answer.
Soon, her thoughts were occupied by the deliciousness of the roasted meat, and she did not stop when she had finished everything on the table with his help.
"Let's go and catch Rokubi!" She cheerfully said as she drank a few sips of water and stood up.
Her Uzumaki Blood was burning again, and he smiled at her antics.
"Let's go." Enma nodded to her as he got up to bury the bones and incinerate their waste, and the Uchiha quickly stored away her beloved hammock.
They rushed towards the coastline, arriving at the same tree they had stopped yesterday, and Izumi curiously looked at him when she heard him sigh.
"They are gone?"
"They are not in the cave, but by the side of a lake, about twenty kilometres from here, and they are..." he sighed again, and she blushed hard.
"Stop peeking!"
"How else am I supposed to keep an eye on them?"
"Just stop!"
"I already have..."
"Good. We will wait until they..."
"How would we know if I don't look?"
"Shut up."
"Fine."
"I never thought you were a pervert, Enma."
"I am not a pervert!" He was annoyed now, and it did not help that she scoffed at his words. "You are disgusting."
"I am disgusting?!" She screamed, pulling him by the collar, glaring daggers at him. "You are the one who spies on people when they are taking a shower or... or..."
"You are disgusting." He turned face away, and it was a mistake because she did not hesitate to punch him in the face this time.
Enma crashed into the crown of the nearby tree, and after dropping on the ground, he just laid there, blankly sprawled and slowly breathing.
Izumi regretted it the moment she punched him, and nervously jumped right next to him.
His silence made her feel even more guilty, and she lowered her head, holding back her tears.
"Sorry..." She whispered.
"Izumi." He indifferently took her name, and it tore her heart.
"Yes?"
"Why do you love playing with your boobs so much?" He said, and ran away just in time to hear the ground where her was lying get destroyed by a devastating force.
