"So, what is the purpose of our military? Are you not going to lend a helping hand even when civilians face difficulties in the future?"
The soldier was left speechless and could only stand there awkwardly, at a loss for what to do.
"Alright! Let's start lunch now. Today's lunch is simple, everyone take a look at what's in the cage?"
The district chief pointed to the side, where a cage was filled with rats just caught from the ground.
However, these rats weren't the harmful ones carrying germs.
Everyone looked at each other in astonishment, while the soldier showed signs of joy, as eating these during field training was routine for them.
"How do we eat these animals?" someone couldn't help but ask.
"Good question, naturally, you eat with your mouth," the district chief replied with a smile, then drew a knife from his waist and swiftly gutted a rat.
