Chapter 312: Three Deranged Vagabonds

Hearing this, Xiao Tianming's smile faded. A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he looked at the subdued enemies around him. In a deep voice, he said, "Brother Tiance, let's kill them all!"
Hearing this, Xiao Tiance's lips curled into a slight smile. It seemed that during his time in the Great Thousand World, Tianming had matured considerably.
Back in the Dou Qi Continent, Tianming had always been cheerful and kind hearted. In similar situations, he might have let his enemies go. But now, his first instinct was to kill them all. This change revealed his evolving mindset.
"Don't… no, please!"
Suddenly, a desperate cry echoed through the air.
Xiao Tiance glanced over and saw that Qinghou was holding a beautiful woman. Her looks and figure were exceptional, on par with even Medusa. However, her demeanor carried a faint air of coarseness, unlike Medusa's regal charm.
Xiao Tiance turned back to Tianming, who appeared indifferent, ignoring the woman's pleas. With a simple motion of his hand, Xiao Tiance gave the order.
In an instant, the sound of necks snapping echoed continuously, followed by the dull thuds of bodies hitting the ground.
While Supreme experts could theoretically survive a broken neck, the team ensured the job was done by using spiritual energy to shatter the enemies' spiritual seas. This left them unquestionably dead.
As Xiao Tianming looked at the pile of corpses, he turned to Xiao Tiance with a sheepish expression and asked, "Brother Tiance, why didn't you at least ask me who that woman was?"
"Ha! What for? Whoever she was, she had to die. No point in asking," Xiao Tiance replied nonchalantly. "Now, focus on recovering. I'll handle the bodies."
With that, Xiao Tiance gestured to Liu Changkong. The latter stomped his foot, and all the corpses flew into a pile.
Satisfied, Xiao Tiance summoned a golden flame in his palm. Its violent heat even made the Sky Academy Dean's expression change slightly.
"Boom!"
With a casual wave, the Golden Emperor Flame engulfed the bodies. Moments later, all that remained was ash.
"What a terrifying flame! Even the bodies of Supreme experts turned to ash upon contact," thought the Sky Academy Dean and the others.
Though they had never encountered such a domineering fire before, they instinctively understood that it was far from ordinary. The fact that Xiao Tiance could control it only added to their respect for him.
"Lord Tiance, shall we stay a little longer on the Continent of Kings, or should we head straight to the Western Heaven Continent?" the Sky Academy Dean asked.
After a moment of thought, Xiao Tiance nodded. "Let's head to the Western Heaven Continent. I'd like to see which experts have arrived this time."
He then turned to Xiao Tianming. "Tianming, come here. Let me introduce you to some people."
He gestured to the others and said, "This is the Dean of Sky Academy from the Tianchang Continent, the Hall Master of the Heavenly Net Hall, Liu Changkong, and the Mountain Lord of Spirit Sword Mountain, Wan Sui."
Then, turning to the group, he added, "This is my cousin, Xiao Tianming."
"Greetings, Dean, Hall Master Liu, and Mountain Lord Wan," Xiao Tianming said, bowing respectfully.
Though the three had taken orders from Xiao Tiance earlier, their strength far exceeded that of the Chaos City fighters, making it clear they were not to be underestimated.
"Hahaha! Greetings, Tianming!" the three replied warmly, each with a slight bow.
From their tone and demeanor, Xiao Tianming sensed a great deal of respect for Xiao Tiance. Though curious, he decided not to dwell on it for now.
After exchanging pleasantries, Xiao Tiance retrieved a pill from his storage ring and handed it to Tianming. "Here, take this. You've been through a lot. Now that you've seen what the Great Thousand World has to offer, how do you feel?"
"If you hadn't arrived in time, I'd probably be their prisoner by now," Xiao Tianming admitted as he swallowed the pill. Feeling its effects almost immediately, he looked at Xiao Tiance and asked, "By the way, where's Brother Xuan?"
Xiao Tiance shook his head slightly, offering no further explanation. Turning back to the Sky Academy Dean, he said, "Dean, shall we set out now?"
"Very well. We'll head west. About ten thousand miles from here, there's a teleportation array that can take us directly to Luoshui City in the Western Heaven Continent," the Dean replied with a smile.
As the group prepared to break through the void and head west, a powerful aura suddenly surged from the direction of Chaos City.
"Dean of Sky Academy, Hall Master Liu, Mountain Lord Wan! How could you visit Chaos City without stopping by? Are you looking down on me, Nangong Jie?"
Hearing this, the Sky Academy Dean and the others smiled faintly.
Xiao Tiance could sense that the newcomer wasn't particularly strong merely a Seventh Grade Supreme, far from a threat. Since there was no danger and this Nangong Jie seemed to know the Dean and the others, Xiao Tiance decided to wait.
Moments later, a middle aged man in red robes appeared, exuding an aura reminiscent of fire itself.
"Old Nangong, you're still alive? I'm surprised!" the Sky Academy Dean said with a laugh, bowing slightly.
Liu Changkong and Wan Sui also bowed respectfully. "Greetings, Senior Nangong."
"Hahaha! If you're still alive, bookworm, how could I dare die before you?" Nangong Jie replied with a hearty laugh. He then turned to Liu Changkong and Wan Sui and said, "You two brats have come far. From barely stepping into the Supreme Realm back then to becoming Ninth Grade Supremes now. It seems the old bookworm's judgment wasn't too shabby after all."
"You flatter us, Senior Nangong," they replied with polite smiles.
After a bit of small talk, Nangong Jie's gaze fell on the scorched ground where the Golden Emperor Flame had burned.
"What a domineering flame! Even from Chaos City, I could feel its immense power. Who among you wielded such fire?" he asked, scanning the group.
All eyes turned to Xiao Tiance, who nodded slightly and stepped forward. "Junior Xiao Tiance greets Senior Nangong."
"Oh? Xiao Tiance? That name doesn't ring a bell," Nangong Jie mused.
As Nangong Jie finished speaking, he noticed Xiao Tianming standing beside Xiao Tiance. Suddenly, realization dawned on his face.
"So it's you, young friend Tiance. I deeply regret the experience young Tianming had in Chaos City earlier. I hope you won't hold it against me," Nangong Jie said apologetically.
Xiao Tiance shook his head lightly. "Senior Nangong, you're too kind. You weren't involved, so there's no blame to place on you."
Seeing that Xiao Tiance didn't want to engage further with Nangong Jie, the Sky Academy Dean stepped in with a smile. "Alright, old Nangong, we'll skip visiting your Chaos City. We're heading to the Eastern Family's territory to use their teleportation array to reach Luoshui City in the Western Heaven Continent."
Hearing this, Nangong Jie frowned. "Why are you leaving so early? Isn't there still about a month before the gathering?"
The Sky Academy Dean chuckled. "Getting there early has its advantages. Old Nangong, if you're planning to attend, why not come with us?"
"No, no. These old bones of mine can't handle such a trip. I only came because I sensed the three of you and that domineering flame earlier. Since you won't visit Chaos City, I won't hold you up. I wish you all, and especially Wan Sui and Liu Changkong, success this time."
With that, Nangong Jie took a long, meaningful look at Xiao Tiance before tearing through space and returning to Chaos City.
After Nangong Jie left, the Sky Academy Dean sighed and muttered, "The once fiery tempered Supreme Flame Sovereign, Nangong Jie, now reduced to hiding in Chaos City... truly lamentable."
Noticing Xiao Tiance's intrigued expression, Liu Changkong respectfully explained, "Lord Tiance, Senior Nangong Jie, also known as the Supreme Flame Sovereign, was famous for his fiery temperament. Some even nicknamed him the Explosive Ember Sovereign.
"He was a renowned expert thousands of years ago, but after failing to advance to the Earth Supreme level, his vitality was drained, and his cultivation gradually declined. Now he's been reduced to hiding in Chaos City to avoid his enemies."
Xiao Tiance nodded in understanding. It made sense. Although he had sensed Nangong Jie's potent fire attribute spiritual energy, it had also felt like the flame of a dying candle.
With nothing more to discuss, the group departed.
Meanwhile, back in the Blood Puppet Sect's headquarters known as the most dominant force on the Continent of Kings an ominous air filled the underground chambers.
In one of these chambers, a middle aged man who bore a striking resemblance to Lan Yu suddenly opened his eyes. Looking at the fractured soul jade pendant on his waist, his expression darkened, and an intense wave of blood energy erupted around him.
"Who dares to kill my Yu'er?!"
Moments later, the blood energy dissipated, and the man disappeared from the chamber, heading straight for the direction where Xiao Tiance and his group had been.
Of course, Xiao Tiance and the others knew nothing of this. But even if they did, it wouldn't matter. To them, enemies were simply meant to be eliminated.
As the group flew through the void, Xiao Tianming shared his experiences since entering the Great Thousand World. Of course, he conveniently skipped over any mention of his flirtations with Zeng Yaoyao.
After listening, Xiao Tiance chuckled and teased, "If you'd known you'd face all this, would you still have begged me to bring you here?"
"Of course!" Xiao Tianming replied confidently. "Come on, Brother Tiance, don't underestimate me! It's only because my Dou Qi hasn't fully converted to spiritual energy yet. Otherwise, I could slap those small fries to death without breaking a sweat."
Though embarrassed, Xiao Tianming scratched his head and laughed, clearly having already forgotten his earlier close call.
Xiao Tiance, seeing his cousin's carefree attitude, felt relieved. His earlier teasing was just a way to gauge whether Xiao Tianming had been mentally affected by his experiences. A heart demon could be disastrous, and Xiao Tiance had promised his uncle, Xiao Chun, that he would ensure Xiao Tianming's safety.
From the looks of it, Xiao Tianming's heart and mind were still intact.
"Good. As long as you're not shaken," Xiao Tiance said with a smile.
"Hehe," Xiao Tianming chuckled, then turned to Qinghou, standing nearby. "Brother Tiance, is this Heavenly Demon Puppet something you crafted after arriving in the Great Thousand World? I've never seen it before."
"Yes. It's Fifth Heaven Dou Emperor Qinghou. I discovered his body in a spatial passage. Unfortunately, his soul had long perished, so I couldn't revive him. It would have been a waste to discard such a powerful body, so I refined it into a Heavenly Demon Puppet.
"Sadly, I lacked sufficient materials to restore him to the Dou Emperor level," Xiao Tiance explained.
"Hiss… a Dou Emperor level Heavenly Demon Puppet!" Xiao Tianming gasped in shock. After closely examining Qinghou, he grinned and said, "Congratulations, Brother Tiance! With this puppet, your safety is assured."
"You rascal. Once I reach the Heavenly Supreme Realm, I'll give Qinghou to you," Xiao Tiance said with a wry smile.
"Hahaha! Then you'd better hurry and level up, Brother Tiance. I really like this puppet," Xiao Tianming laughed, clearly delighted.
Xiao Tiance shook his head. He knew Xiao Tianming too well even his cousin's smallest expressions betrayed his thoughts.
Suddenly, Xiao Tiance's expression darkened, and the Sky Academy Dean immediately waved his hand, creating a barrier that blocked an incoming attack.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The violent explosions disrupted their journey, forcing the group to stop and step out of the void. Ahead, three figures hovered in midair, grinning maliciously.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A Lower Earth Supreme, two peak Ninth Grade Supremes, and a Ninth Grade Supreme puppet. Jackpot!"
As they laughed, the Sky Academy Dean, Liu Changkong, and Wan Sui all scowled. Recognizing the attackers, they muttered in frustration, "Of all people, why did it have to be these three deranged vagabonds?"
